Great stay! Place was easy to find, peaceful, clean and comfortable. Fun for the whole family. I would definitely recommend to others.

The home was extremely clean and very cute. We enjoyed every space and it was a comfortable, peaceful place to stay. The beds were comfortable and the back porch was perfect for viewing the beautiful creek!

We have stayed at Tom’s place a few times now. He is a very responsive and accommodating host that has a place that is exactly as described. This place is great for staying in the woods with perfect accommodations. There is also a bar/restaurant down the street that is a fun place to go. Tom even recommended the excellent pizza at the Sunoco, demonstrating his knowledge of the area. We are definitely going back as it is totally worth the experience. We use it to atv ride at the Leota trails, and thus allows us to park and ride the whole time. It’s great. Thanks again Tom!

We enjoyed our stay at the lake with fishing and exploring the lakes in the paddle boat. The view of the water from the cottage and yard was picturesque and serene. While there are neighbors nearby, it was no issue at all. The neighbors were friendly and the overall area was peaceful. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. There is no AC, not a problem when we were there. Communication with Ruth was great. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

We borrowed the home for a 3 night stay, just to get away from the city and spend some time together. My partner and I enjoyed our time alone and with friends. There was ample space for everyone, the hot tub very comfortably seated all 4 of us, and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed aside from the food to make all 3 of our daily meals in house. The games provided also allowed for some extra fun in our downtime. Between the house manual, a helpful before-we-arrived text, and some menus and extra info posted on the fridge we had all the knowledge necessary to enjoy our weekend peacefully. There is one neighbor in close proximity in the backyard but they were super kind & helpful, and in no way negatively impacted our stay.

The house was well appointed and very comfortable. The host was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to others.

This was such a nice little cottage. It was very clean and had many amenities for the guests. The outdoor space was well kept and had a great place to spend time outside. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and other amenities you wouldn’t think of. The bedrooms were clean and had storage options which is very helpful for a small cottage. The living room was set up well with a TV and several games to play too. The location is great with a short walk to the boat launch and a small beach area, and within driving distance of several towns and attractions. We were extremely happy with our stay and would recommend to others.

I would say this is my favorite so far out of the other places I have stayed. Very clean, very nice. Had some toys/games for my kids. We all enjoyed fishing, swimming. The kids loved the paddle boat. Would totally recommend staying!

This is a lovely little apartment! Amenities were as listed, the place was spotless, and there were a lot of thoughtful touches everywhere (bottled water in the fridge, mints on the beds, etc.). We didn't have any issues with road or cafe noise, but as it is an old building the floors were very noisy when walking around. Just something to be aware of if you have a light sleeper with you. There is a white noise machine in the bedroom that was helpful. The coffee was fabulous, and we enjoyed our stay.

The home was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We only stay one night and wished our stay was longer. Definitely if we get the chance would stay at this Airbnb again!

This a convenient place in town, quiet yet close to Main Street where you can find everything. It was easy to find and get to. Clean, cute, and comfortable.

A real "Gem" as the name says. We had a very nice time and the host and hostess went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. From check-in to the hugs at check-out, Monica made our stay very enjoyable. We would highly recommend staying at Grem's Gems cottage. We were sad to leave, felt like we were leaving our own family.

The perfect place to stay on a trip up to northern Michigan. Very clean and comfortable with minimal walking distance to restaurants and downtown.
