Family-friendly holiday rentals in Clearlake

We had a great family vacation here in Nice, CA for 6 nights in June. It was my birthday; I brought my wife, 1-year-old son, and my dog. My parents visited too. Everyone enjoyed the space. Great for kids and dogs. Enjoyed taking the canoe out on the lake when we had babysitter help. Also a good place to launch a SUP. The private dock was sweet! Tons of great birdwatching. Especially enjoyed the swallows, swifts, and osprey. 15 minutes away was Blue Lakes, an even better place to SUP and swim for the day (we got day passes from the Lodge). 5 stars! WorldMark, is one of the best places to stay at clear lake, we had a nice view of the lake, the unit was very clean and smelling good, the fishing was amazing 👍🏾. Looking forward to next year.

Julia's place was great. The kitchen was equipped with everything you can think of. Even a margarita machine. Clear cut instructions with lights and everything was labeled. Julia even left some breakfast items to enjoy. Space was neat and quirky and I absolutely loved that. Would definitely come back again and enjoy the peace of the lake. Our stay was extremely amazing thanks to the historical and elaborately designed furnishings & buildings, the nature-rich environment, and the warm hospitality of the staff. The location was also great, with downtown within walking distance and a nice park just a short drive away where you can play in the river.

We loved our stay at the Verona house. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful while still being close enough to convenient places like a grocery store, Costco, a local art museum, and a delicious Thai restaurant. The pool was clean and so fun for our kids, and the kitchen had plenty of pans, pots, coffee and tea gadgets for cooking at home. My favorite part was eating dinner outdoors on the deck—beautiful views and we were able to watch the sunset each night. Wonderful stay for large families or groups of friends!

Place was great and staff was pleasant! Tawny was super responsive and understanding. The pool there is awesome! The only thing is that the lake is not very good for swimming and there is no close access to it. I should have read more about Clearlake.

We loved how easily accessible the lake is with your own dock and a launch not too far away. Our kids loved the Lilly pad, slide and kayaks provided! There were also a lot of life jackets available which was nice. The bottle of wine and complimentary tastings at a local winery was a nice touch! I loved the boho decor and there was plenty of amenities in the kitchen. We will definitely be back another time :)

A Soulful Escape – A Farm Stay to Remember From the moment my husband and I arrived, this magical farm stay enveloped us in beauty and tranquility. The grounds were absolutely stunning—lush, serene, and infused with the calming scents of rosemary, lavender, and jasmine. Each morning, we woke to the peaceful sound of birdsong and the familiar, nostalgic smell of fruit orchards, instantly transporting us both back to cherished childhood memories. Our cottage was a perfect haven for two: completely private, thoughtfully appointed, and decorated with an eclectic, artsy flair that made it feel both unique and welcoming. By the end of our stay, we both felt completely recharged—calm, grounded, and connected.

Loved every minute of our stay. The neighbors were friendly and it was so peaceful. We loved having the private dock.

Five of us (adults) stayed at Camp Bailey during Passport (April 26-27) and loved our stay. The house and landscaping are beautiful. We loved the hot tub and fire pit, and we spent our evenings cooking in the well-equipped kitchen and hanging out under the stars. We highly recommend this amazing house.

It is in a beautiful location, and the apartment was relaxing and well-appointed. There is a very peaceful garden/patio area that is available for all the guests. There is more than adequate free parking. There are several great places to eat. Studabakers, across the street, has the best coffee in town. For breakfast, I recommend the Everything Bagel with lox. My husband prefers the breakfast burrito. They also make takeaway sandwiches, which we took to the state park for a walk and picnic by Clear Lake.

Greta's place was the perfect spot for us to enjoy our beloved Harbin without having to board our dog. The cabin was absolutely cozy, clean, and comfortable, while Greta's breakfast fruit plate and muffins (made vegan just for us) was lovely. Our dog enjoyed the gated in grounds which were surprisingly large enough for him to run around in. Greta met us when we arrived and on the way out; she one of the friendliest hosts you will find.

This is a great place right on the lake with its private dock for fishing. There is also chairs and table on the deck under the shade that overlooks a lake. The house itself has plenty of space, well stocked and very clean. Comfortable bed for good nights sleep. The hosts are lovely and friendly people that are ready to help with anything you might need. The town is well located to take day trips around Mendocino area and explore wineries. Recommend to anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway in nature.

Yan’s place has gorgeous sunrise views over the lake and our stay was a very peaceful weekend getaway. The house comfortably fit three adults and an infant and was well equipped with everything we needed.

My husband and I had a great stay! This condo was very spacious and had everything we needed and more! A very relaxing trip!

This place is magical. There’s a creek in the backyard and surrounded by trees. You feel so far away from everything, but there’s a grocery not too far. The coffee shop right down the street is also very good. 10/10 would come back

We had a fabulous time as a group of 10 girls celebrating my sister's engagement. The house has the most beautiful view and did not disappoint! The best part of our experience was that Danielle was SO helpful in planning our wine tasting day and giving recommendations. We were unfamiliar with Alexander Valley, and she was able to help us coordinate and afforable, unforgetable day visiting wineries!

This was a great place. I loved the environment, it was peaceful and serene. I liked the house and all the little accommodations. I highly recommend this rental.
