Lakefront Guest Suite with Spa and Dock
Casa de Cozumel (House of Swallows) is a beautiful Lakefront Home on Clear Lake just one hour north of the Napa Valley and 3 hours north of San Francisco. This listing is for the lower floor guest suite with seperate entrance, bath, kitchenette and bedroom and fireplace sleeps 5 ($150 -$225 per night). There is private patio, bbq , firepit, dining area that our guests have exclusive use of. We also give our guests exclusive use of the sundeck, dock, spa and lower patio. The kitchenette inside is small and is suitable for light use. We have added a small Apt size stove/oven (with pots and pans) and refrigerator to a covered outdoor kitchen. There is also the following: compact under counter refer/freezer, sink, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, InstaPot and juicer. Most people use the bbq to grill and make salads etc. We have two small kayaks and one SUP (stand up paddle) available for our guests and you are welcome to bring your own kayak, canoes and PWC. We do not rake any responsibility for injuries due to use of these items as they are used at your own risk. Required rules for using the spa,. kayak and sup are posted in the unit. If you plan on bringing a motorboat please inquire prior to arrival if space is available. This property is perfect for couples, small family groups, friends and traveling professionals. You must be at least 21 to book this property or be a guest UNLESS you are traveling with a parent or guardian. In order to keep this listing available for travelers and holiday seekers we also do not allow residents of Lake County to book without prior permission of the host. The house rules are posted inside the space. We do ask that you be respectful and obey the quiet times of 10pm to 7am and follow the checkout procedures. As of the summer of 2025 we have plenty of water in front of our dock and no significant Algae blooms. During the summer months the water quality for swimming because of Algae blooms though can vary day to day. We will do our best to advise the lake quality but there are still plenty of activities, kayaking, fishing and soaking in the spa. We can offer suggestions of other closeby lakes with beach access that are available for day use. We recommend Pine Acres Resort with a Day Pass Mon - Thur for $15 or Blue Lakes Lodge everyday $50. Reservations are required for both. You can also access the lake free from Hwy 20. We are required to collect TOT taxes , city of Clearlake and County of Lake for a total of 11.5% for stays less than 30 days. Take it easy at Dancing Waters located on Pirate's Cove in this unique & tranquil getaway. Enjoy the ever changing views with many species of birds against the backdrop of Mt Konocti. Christmas Special: Enjoy access to the pier including meditating under the Pyramid. We have created this 450 sq. ft. apartment out of the existing house which we currently live in. It has a separate entrance on the street with parking. It has a king bed, 50" TV, desks, electric fireplace, mini kitchen/bar.
