Incredible 1000 Islands Cottage!

RobRating, 5 stars10 months ago
What a fantastic experience! The cottage is gorgeous, nicely furnished and with beautiful warm wood finishes on floors, walls and ceilings. It has all the comforts and conveniences you could want, but you can feel it's been a family treasure for over half a century, and Ralph and Gary are obviously proud to be able to share it with their guests. You couldn't ask for more responsive hosts - they were eager to meet any needs we had, but the chalet really had everything we could have wanted. Location: in the meandering 1000 Islands channels, there's nowhere more "central": 500 metres off the Rockport docks, a 5 minute Seadoo ride to Boldt Castle and Alexandria Bay, a short cruise to Gananoque. We spent most of our days at the boathouse and dock. The main Canadian channel gets pretty busy in July, especially weekends - Ralph brought us extra long lines to keep our Seadoos safe from the relentless wake activity - but by evening you can enjoy the summer sunset with water still as glass.

Stay on the Tay! A Charming Stone Guest House

DavidRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Kate's place is quite lovely and provides an opportunity to be a part of Glen Tay Valley history. The Garden's are beautiful and sitting in the summer house is a treat. Great place for reading a book with a glass of wine in hand. Our dog loves it there too as he can watch the bird life by the Tay river. Kate's digs are a great spot for resting in between adventures in the Perth area. Absolutely charming. It was our third time back.

Alex Bay,NY Main Channel Cottage

LawrenceRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had an absolutely fantastic stay here. The house and the property were immaculately clean and well manicured which we really appreciated. The first night we grilled burgers and sat around the table on the deck, had a great time visiting and watching the freighters go by. The second evening, we started the fire pit and sat around talking and watching the sun go down over the river and more freighters, of course. Overall, an absolutely wonderful place to stay when you’re in the Thousand Islands area!

We just loved it. It was the most beautiful home during our trip. Bobbi is a wonderful host. She provided us with great tips what to do in the area and even prepared a very nice welcome package for us. We would definitely stay there again.

Sunset Cottage

ConnieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Maria’s home was beautiful with a spectacular view right on the water. We enjoyed time on the dock, kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing in the bay. Maria was kind enough to provide us wood for the fire pit and the kids loved cooking s’mores at night. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day exploring the area. Maria’s home was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. Thank you Maria for being a wonderful host and sharing your beautiful home!
