Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Clifton

This was the perfect location for my work meeting - Jon and his family were lovely and Louie the dog was so friendly. Easy to get to and convenient for motorway connections. Would have no hesitation in recommending Jon's place and if i am back in the area will definitely book again. Cat

This little flat is an absolute treasure! a gorgeous tiny little place, but, though small, it is so cleverly laid out that it feels really spacious. You have everything you need. A really well kitted out kitchen, lovely bathroom, big TV in front of a comfy sofa. The bed is up a couple of big steps, sort of raised up, and is very comfortable. Hilary put a fan there because of the heat wave while I was there which was a nice touch. The location is great - super close to Clifton and just a few minutes walk to the harbour. I thought parking was going to be a challenge, but I always found a spot very close to the flat. I definitely recommend a stay. Next time I'm in Bristol I'll hopefully manage to book this place again.

We had a fantastic experience at this property - the flat was easy to access and surprisingly private. The garden area was lovely for having breakfast outside in the great weather and we had everything we needed. This is a fantastic location with lots of lovely shops, cafes and places to eat right on the doorstep with very convenient public transport close by. Everything about our stay was perfect and we can't wait to stay again!

Nice flat, well kept flat in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed a week here and had plenty of room to relax. The kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped. The host is very responsive.

We booked for two weeks and were absolutely not disappointed! The location is fantastic — with so much to do nearby and just a short walk to some wonderful restaurants. JP provided a thoughtful welcome booklet filled with local recommendations, and we tried three of the spots he suggested — all were excellent! The home itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the attention to detail in every bedroom, especially the linens, made our stay extra comfortable. We were lucky enough to meet JP in the lovely shop below (also worth a visit!), and he was a delight — warm, welcoming, and full of even more great tips about the area. A definite highlight was the easy walk to the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge. We’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

"TOP DRAWER" Much like the hidden cutlery drawer within the top drawer next to the oven, this property is truly a hidden gem. Situated so close to the stunning Clifton Observatory where we attended a family wedding, yet cocooned by nature and the delight of birdsong. The focus of our stay was the wedding, so to be able to find and settle into our home from home with such ease was greatly appreciated. We are extremely grateful to our host for going above and beyond in allowing us to gift a one night stay to the bride and groom who were extremely grateful for the opportunity to peacefully rest and restore after their big day. We highly recommend Lucia to the discerning Airbnb guest as we are certain that you would not fail to be impressed with this top drawer North Somerset destination a stone's throw from Clifton Village, Bristol.

We stayed for only one night as a halfway point for a long road trip and wish we could have stayed longer. The accommodation was truly stunning, spacious, pristine and immaculate. The small park next door was perfect for letting our dog have a run and sniff. Location is brilliant with lots of amenities on your doorstep. The hosts were incredibly friendly and checked in to ensure we were settled and had everything we needed. We hope to book again!

We stayed at Williams place because of an operation in a nearby hospital but would love to go there again. The house was so nice and the location so lovely, full of lovely artisan bars, restaurants and shops whenever we stay in Bristol we will stay there again.

Clean, safe, quiet place and spacious sitting room with great view. 2-min walk to Clifton Village with a lot of good restaurants, close to Clifton Supension Bridge and other scenic places. Hosts are friendly and responds quickly, highly recommend for long or short stay.

We stayed for my birthday and having stayed in a few other air bnb’s in redland, this is by far our favourite! Claire was very helpful and responsive, the flat was immaculate with a beautiful kitchen that was full of anything we could have needed (including milk!). The general decor was lovely and cosy. So easy to get to whiteladies from here, and a 3 min walk from our favourite restaurant, little hollows pasta so it was honestly perfect. Thank you Claire, we will be back!

Superb apartment, we had a great time,

This is our fourth visit to 38 and we love it. Comfy beds, off road parking (and road parking if your car is larger). Katie is a great host, responsive, really friendly and always helpful. We hope to be back soon.

Spa-like bathroom with huge towels and a heated towel bar! The big screen TV was nice, too.

Morgan’s place was lovely and situated in a great location. Provided a really helpful guide full of instructions, recommendations and information and was really fast at responding to messages. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Jane Austen’s former home—charming, quirky, and full of character. The apartment is beautifully restored with a perfect mix of historic detail and modern comfort. From flagstone floors and Georgian panelling to surround sound and a rainfall shower, every space is thoughtfully designed. We especially loved the light-filled kitchen overlooking a rose-filled courtyard and the cozy, art-filled living spaces. The location is ideal, right across from the Holburne Museum and Sydney Gardens, and Maxwell was a fantastic host—warm, responsive, and attentive. Sitting at the wooden desk, it was easy to channel your inner Austen, finding inspiration here. A peaceful, welcoming home that made us feel both transported and completely at ease.

We stayed at Norman's for two months while we renovated a house. Perfect location close to the city - Gloucester Rd, Whiteladies, city centre etc. Really lovely flat with private walled garden covered in rambling roses in beautiful Georgian Kingsdown. Flat very clean and comfortable and well equipped kitchen. Norman super helpful and friendly. We loved our stay here.
