Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Clonakilty

Excellent séjour. La maison est très fonctionnelle et agréable à vivre au quotidien pour 6 personnes. Aucune mauvaise surprise. La vue est exceptionnelle et donne envie d'y retourner ! La météo fut favorable. Janet est très réactive quelle que soit la question ou l'heure. Une suggestion pour notre prochain séjour: un presse citron :-). JF

We had a wonderful stay here, surrounded with hills and a quick drive to many little walks, the coast, interesting towns and about 1.5h from areas further afield such as the Ring of Kerry or Mizzen Head. The space itself is comfortable and clean, and was perfect for our visit (us + 2 young kids + 2 elderly parents) — being able to let the kids play outside is a real gift. Hot tub gets nice and hot and was a great treat to end the day. Thank you Marcella for a wonderful stay, and for being so responsive and helping us with a few of the bits we needed / had forgotten at home! Xx

Tolles Haus in ruhiger Gegend, perfekt zum Erholen und Erkunden der Gegend geeignet. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt und Catherine ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Das Haus ist wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet, Alles war sehr sauber

Absolutely magical! Our whole family fell in love with this incredible home in Cork. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning view—it honestly felt like something out of a movie. Every window seemed to frame a postcard-perfect landscape, and we found ourselves constantly stopping to soak it all in. The house itself was warm, welcoming, and perfectly equipped for a family getaway. Spacious, spotless, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra comfortable. Whether we were enjoying a quiet morning coffee or gathering for a family dinner, it felt like home in the best way possible. We left already talking about when we’ll come back. If you're considering this place—don’t hesitate. It's a gem, and we can’t wait to return!

Anne & Gerry's place is an absolute gem. Relax in the garden, while watching the ebb & flow of the tidal estuary. Enjoy the antics of the Egrets, Heron, and Hooded Crow who are in splendid abundance. Curl up in front of the fire with a good book and a glass of the good stuff. Pop into Skibbereen or Clonakilty if you want to stretch your legs. Or just enjoy the afternoon sun with a pint at Nolan's (ask Dennis about his on-going "battle" with the local Rooks and Jackdaws). Anne & Gerry's is a wonderful place to slow things down, and focus on Nature and simplicity. You will sleep beautiful sleeps at Lazy Acre, and awake to days of delicious indolence.

Ein sehr schöner Urlaub ist beendet. Das moderne und großzügige Haus hat sehr viel dazu beigetragen. 2 von den 3 Badezimmern sind nur über das jeweilige Schlafzimmer zu erreichen. Das schränkte ein wenig ein. Aber der Ausblick, die Sonne Terrasse und die schöne Landschaft sind eine Reise wert.

What a beautifully decorated and lovely place this was, and what a view! The house exceeded our expectations and looked even better than the photos on Airbnb. The five of us enjoyed our visit and enjoyed the amenities, including L'Occitane toiletries provided! The place was within walking distance to Kinsale's main town with easy access to supermarkets, independent local stores and cafes/restaurants. Communication with Michael was great and he provided a useful handbook of details on how to check in, the local area, etc.

Mooi groot huis met een heerlijke veranda. Misten bij mooi weer wel lekkere ligstoelen voor buiten. Maar, los van dat, prachtige locatie met fantastisch uitzicht. In het huis is alles aanwezig wat je nodig denkt te hebben.

l appartement est fidèle au descriptif. l hôte a été très réactif pour nous répondre. l appartement est très bien situé, proche d un parking. on peut ensuite profiter de Kinsale à pied. de nombreux pubs autour occasionnant un peu de bruits le soir. l appartement est très agréable, très lumineux. la literie est confortable. tout est très propre. nous y reviendrons.

Die Reise war wirklich schön. Mit der Kommunikation und der Anmietung hat auch alles prima geklappt. Die Lage der Wohnung und die Aussicht ist phantastisch und wir haben diese sehr genossen.

We loved our stay ,it felt like home,we will deffo be back.The home was spacious,and very clean,the hot tub was a real bonus after a long drive,and to play a little music before bedtime was priceless.The doggies also were welcomed which we appreciated. The only downside we would have liked to stay longer🤸‍♀️😊🐕🐕🐕

Wir waren absolut begeistert! Die Wohnung war genau wie beschrieben und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit Mary war super einfach und sie war eine tolle Gastgeberin. Wir können die Wohnung nur weiter empfehlen!

We had a great time. Anne was lovely, really helpful and provided great recommendations for local attractions. The apartment was very spacious, and matched the photos. Anne provided a very generous welcome pack which was greatly appreciated after a long drive. The area was very scenic and peaceful, and a great access point for the Beara peninsular. I would highly recommend staying here.

John was communicative and helpful from the get go. His place was easy to find and access. As others have said it is in the heart of the town, making it close to everything, but also a bit loud on a weekend - a white noise machine took care of all that though. Great spot and very convenient!

It’s even more amazing in person. Looks like it’s out of a storybook. Beautiful grounds, right on the banks of a small river and nestled in a secluded nature reserve.

Myself and my friends came for a relaxing stay in west cork and that is exactly what we got. Beautiful surroundings and furnishings in the home with ample space for the 8 of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub in the evening time! Brian is a fabulous host and was really helpful and made checking in and out a breeze. A fabulous bank holiday weekend!

Beautiful view of the sea and very spacious house. Dave was extremely responsive and made us feel right at home. Location also very close to a grocery store, coffee, food, etc.

We have just spent a marvellous week at Grainne's holiday home. It is indeed a magical place with beautiful sea views and within walking distance of Baltimore village/harbour. So much to explore around this historical area and beyond. Did day trips to Sherkin Island and Garnish Island (which is about an hours drive away), a hike to the iconic Beacon is a must. Great restaurants and a small local pub nearby all serving brilliant seafood and the freshest fish. The house had everything we needed, very well equipped kitchen. Lovely comfy beds and lounge furniture for relaxing and reading or just admiring the view! Best of all was that there was no television...fantastic to get away from the outside world for a while, give the head some peace. Cant wait to revisit West Cork again. Thank you Grainne for all the great local information and suggestions and for being so responsive and friendly.

We had two families (9 people) staying for a special occasion. Ages from 12 to 90. The ground floor bedroom with balcony is stunning in the evening. There is so much outdoor space, the kids loved the little football pitch. The location was great, walking distance to the town, the beach and pitch & putt. We had a few queries coming up to the stay and during and all were responded to. We were very lucky to have stayed here.

Kylbeg is a beautiful and spacious home overlooking a stunning harbour on one side and a secluded woodland to the rear. We never tired of that view! We were extremely lucky with the weather so were able to enjoy relaxing outside in the sunshine. The house is incredibly well-equipped and furnished to a high standard. Having three bathrooms was perfect for our party of eight. Special touches such as fresh flowers, houseplants and a basket of edible goodies, were especially appreciated. As a family of foodies, we took a trip to the brilliant English Market in Cork to buy seafood, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a wide variety of condiments, to make it easy for us to rustle up a delicious meal. Robert was very helpful and accommodating, providing restaurant recommendations and trip suggestions, and calling to ensure we had everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for more.

We had a wonderful stay at Robert’s place. Perfect for our family of 6 adults looking for a peaceful escape from the cities. Enjoyed the walking trails in the back and the house is absolutely beautiful with a great view. Easy to get to surrounding areas for day trips. Robert was extremely welcoming and responsive. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Ireland!

An elegant house in a truly beautiful location. Our whole family (toddlers to grandparents) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lough Hyne. Tim, the property manager, could not have been more helpful and responsive to any requests. Missing it already and definitely would stay there again another year!
