8 Steps to a private beach. Cottage with full kitchen, new queen bed, very private, big water's edge deck, unhindered views of Broughton Strait and the passing marine traffic and wildlife. Newly installed gas fireplace in 2022 will keep extra warmth and heat through cool evenings. As mentioned below, wifi is weak on a phone , good on a tablet. But it’s a spot to not be on devices. If you need major research or downloads, come up the driveway and it gets stronger. Local cafes have WiFi too

Ocean and mountain views from the back patio with great sun exposure. Very quiet, friendly neighbourhood within walking distance to all local amenities. The town boat launch is only 2 min away and mountain bike / downhill trails only 5 min. Two local golf courses in the area. Marble River and Alice Lake are on your way in to Port Alice and we highly recommend visiting them. Side Bay is accessible through Port Alice. The Space - completely private - Outdoor Pool opening June 27, 2025 - BBQ

Short walk or bike into town. Port Hardy is the town with the closest access to Holberg and Cape Scott. 15 min drive to Storey’s Beach. 1.5 hr drive to the Cape Scott/San Josef Bay trail head. Note: this is the home to two cats which will not be in the space during your stay. They live in the basement suite.

Cozy one bedroom basement suite in a beautiful quite village. Lots of reading material, games etc. Cable TV in living room and Netflix in bedeoom. Close to grocery store, Liquor store, Post Office, Coffee Shop and Takeout pizza place. Beautiful ocean and mountain views from everywhere in the village. Fishing, Hiking, Kayaking all with in walking distance. Lovely place to stay while exploring our beautiful surroundings. Gateway to the West Coast for even further adventures.

Dunroven is a beautiful property and Lauren an amazing host. We had several days of peace and relaxation. We brought our kayaks and were able to launch from the beach to paddle in awesome scenery watching the humpbacks all around us! Amazing! Lauren is a responsive and lovely host and our stay was perfect. Thank you for the delightful treats as well!

It's always great to stay at a property where the host obviously cares about the comfort of the guest. I can't think of one item that we needed but couldn't find. It was perfect for cooking meals, had a big yard for playing, and was super close to the beach. The beds and furniture were cozy for the rainy days and Barb and Erin went out of their way to put smiles on my daughters faces. We will definitely be back.
