Earth house holiday rentals in Coconino County

A very unique experience! Clear instructions. We loved the quiet and getting to stargaze at night. Would definitely stay again.

I am grateful for the opportunity to stay in a traditional Navajo hogan. The hogan itself was very beautiful and very well built. Inside, it was perfectly quiet, even with a wind blowing outside, as is usually the case with all earth homes. The surrounding scenery was gorgeous, as you are able to see beginnings of the Grand Canyon. I took advantage of the walking trail that skirts the perimeter of the property, and felt like the only person on the whole planet. In meeting and talking with Paul and Baya, I found they were both very friendly and easy to talk to. I am glad I got to know them a little bit, and chat. If I'm ever in the Page area again, I would definitely stay at the Shash Dine hogan.

Great spot. We were drawn in by the views and were not dissapointed. Definitely read the post cause either 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is mostly needed. Had nice cookware so we were able to cook on our first night. Very peaceful. Only a 15 min drive to downtown and 10-20 min to hiking trails. Owners are friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend for a peaceful getaway from the stresses of life.

I absolutely loved this place! The cottage was so cozy and felt just like home! The cats around the house were my personal favorite. Kelleen is very welcoming, kind, and a great person! I would definitely recommend this:)

The house was exactly as we had hoped. The outdoor space is amazing. We spent all of our time at the house outside. The grill, firepit, lounging area and dining table - we used them all. The view was stunning. The house does sit on the major road into Sedona. There is almost constant road noise. But it is not so bad that a little music can't cover it up.

What a wonderful stay! Much better than I expected you walk into a big beautiful condo, with gorgeous views. I loved my stay will be staying at Brooks resorts from now on.

what a unique and fantastic house! this location is second to none for hikers, and the adorable interior really gave us an additional special touch! Just love how everything was thought of, from the games to the layout, and did I mention THE HIKING?! well just steps away from the start of a great adventure on foot in one of the most beautiful places on earth to do so.

We stayed here for a short weekend trip to Sedona and loved our accomodations! I was worried about not being in the thick of Sedona, but the village of oak creek was perfect. Close enough to popular hikes and restaurants, but far enough to enjoy the sunset after a long day. The highlight of every evening was sitting on the patio and watching the family of deer come by to graze. The house was clean and comfortable with a working kitchen. We were easily able to cook a few family meals and a grocery store is a mile away for any extra ingredients we needed. Blake was proactive and was available if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sedona!
