Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro - Douro House

Casa do Douro is part of a group of houses located in Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro. Taking advantage of the privileged location and view, the guest is in permanent contact with the river and the vineyard. The single house, duplex, has a common room on the 1st floor equipped with a complete Kitchenette, TV and Wi-Fi. It has a generous balcony with a table, next to the living room with a fantastic view of the Douro River, widely used for meals and at the end of the day. Visit a traditional Douro Valley estate!

Eira Velha House

Small rural stone house restored with private garden and parking, offers tranquillity and a stunning view to Serra da Freita and Frecha da Mizarela waterfall. Great starting point to reach the remote hills of Freita, where you can enjoy long hikes, river baths or simply visit the geological and archaeological sites of Arouca Geopark. Located in a small rural village in the hills, nearby you can find a grocery store and good restaurant with local gastronomy. Porto city is just 50 min away by car.

The apartment (Penthouse) has a vertical garden terrace, a bedroom with a 1.60 x 2.0 meter double bed, wardrobes and a safe. Casa Brandão was built by our gran grandfather Frederico Brandão in 1904 and is located nearby the river beach of Burgães in Vale de Cambra. In the proximities of the house begins 2 walking routes and a bicycle route on the banks of the river Caima. Other attractions: The Paiva walkways, the bridge 516 Arouca, the Freita Montain and the water fall Fecha da Mizarela. The property is located approximately at 70 Km (43 miles) of the airport of Oporto and 60 Km (37 miles) of the city of Oporto.
