Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Colombia, El Poblado

Our stay at Sweet Helen Paradise was great! We were allowed an early check-in and David met us at the door to show us inside. He was friendly and very responsive. The property was exactly as described by pictures, clean, and spacious. The hot tub was especially great! The “Free Breakfast” noted in the listing was not mentioned by David when we checked in with him, however we didn’t follow up because it wasn’t needed for us. The only thing to be mindful of when booking this is the open ceiling concept in the middle, it was beautiful but during the rainy season I could see this getting a little inconvenient because the outside area gets pretty wet and the kitchen area gets sprayed but the rain too. Thank you for a great stay! We would definitely come back :)

This is a very nice apartment which is very well located , it has a supermarket and a great coffee shop next door to the building , the view from the balcony is great and at night even better ! Very easy access and the hosts provide you with all the information you need and want regarding the local area . A very short walk to some great restaurants and bars in the area and lastly the security staff at the reception desk are very friendly and welcoming !

Excelentes instalaciones, optima atención, muy buena ubicación, encuentras de todo en el sector, droguerías, bares, discotecas, restaurantes, tours por la ciudad, bancos, centro comercial, estación del metro y lugares turísticos de la ciudad. Super mega recomendado.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nuestra experiencia en el alojamiento de Edward fue excelente. Desde el primer momento fue muy atento y respondió de forma rápida y clara a todos nuestros mensajes. Algo que valoramos muchísimo fue que nos facilitara el ingreso a las 2 de la mañana, lo que hizo que todo fuera muy cómodo después de un viaje largo. El lugar nos encantó: impecable, espacioso, tranquilo y ubicado en un barrio acogedor, lleno de verde y con un ambiente muy agradable. Sin duda recomendaríamos hospedarse aquí y volveríamos en una próxima visita a Medellín. ¡Gracias, Edward, por tu amabilidad y hospitalidad!

The location was EXACTLY what I desired from a stay in Medellin. The neighborhood is very walkable and so many restaurants and ice cream shops are less than 10 minutes away. The home looks like the pictures and is quite spacious which I loved. A Lot of greenery/ plants and a great view of the neighborhood. And lots of sunlight. I would say the only con for me was the lack of AC but thats also common in this area. Either way the place stayed pretty cool and there were good fans. I recommend staying here especially for a group.

Este apartamento ubicado en Guayabal, a pocos minutos del Poblado, es un gran lugar dentro de un conjunto residencial seguro y con excelente ubicación, llegar es facilísimo, ya sea en Uber, transporte público o incluso metro. Tiene ingreso con tarjeta al apartamento y acceso a la casa con reconocimiento facial, el lugar es espectacular: jacuzzi privado, X-Box, Alexa, un televisor enorme y una cocina totalmente equipada que invita a quedarse. El asador de gas es ideal para una noche de parrillada, pero si prefieres salir, los restaurantes cercanos ofrecen sabores que conquistan. ¿Lo mejor? Una malla tipo catamarán donde puedes recostarte a ver la ciudad iluminada por la noche, ¡una experiencia mágica! Además, el conjunto cuenta con un corresponsal bancario que facilita cualquier diligencia, y Juan, el anfitrión, fue increíble: atento, amable y siempre disponible, haciendo que todo fluyera, de mi parte recomendado 👌🏽

Un lugar excelente para alojarse – lo recomiendo mucho! El apartamento de Yony me ha impresionado mucho. Es funcional, cómodo y mantiene una limpieza impecable. La zona es segura, lo que permite relajarse por completo. La comunicación con el anfitrión fue sin problemas: Yony siempre respondió rápido y estuvo dispuesto a ayudar. El ambiente del apartamento hizo que me sintiera como en casa y con mucho gusto volveré en una próxima visita. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar a todos!

This is probably one of the best spots in Medellin, what an amazing stay and amazing host. A huge thank you to Andreas one of the most amazing, helpful, kind individual who helped us with everything we ever needed and felt extremely safe and right at home. The place is amazing, the views are breathtaking, awesome jacuzzi. The host, benjamin was a true gentleman and very kind to allow us to be free in his home. Worth every dollar, the best place in the city, amazing view points nearby as well. Will definitely visit again and if this place is ever available, i highly recommend to not miss out on this gem and amazing people! Thank you guys again for everything!

Super great host who was extremely flexible with our check-in, check-out and also very accommodating with all of our needs during our stay. Location was also excellent and a very quick ride to most central areas. Great place!

This place was fine for me and my.friends to stay for our trip. They were redoing the sidewalk so I am sure that will be a plus when finished. If you do not mind using stairs, than it is fine.

The apartment was beautiful, and it is difficult to find one with both a washer and dryer in Medellín. It is a rare gem! The apartment offers a stunning view, allowing you to see the skyline from central Medellín to Estadio, spanning 180 degrees. The interior is beautifully designed and very clean. I appreciate that several fans were provided, as it gets hot for a few hours during the day but cools down at night. I recommend keeping a window open during the day to allow fresh air to circulate and keep the apartment cool. It is within walking distance of the Metro and the D1 grocery store. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Aura es una gran host! Desde el comienzo hasta el final, la comunicación fue muy fluida y rápida. Súper atenta, y dispuesta a ayudar en lo que pueda. El apartamento esta impecable! Muy limpio, amplio, prolijo. Cuenta con personal de seguridad en la entrada. Está ubicado a unas cuadras del metro, y a una cuadra de la plaza el poblado, por lo tanto es muy fácil caminar y se puede descansar muy bien sin ruidos molestos. Fue una gran estadía, totalmente volvería!

Apartamento bien ubicado, a 2 cuadras de la 70 Diana es siempre receptiva y amable Agua caliente, cocina con todo lo necesario, servicio de limpieza. Lo recomiendo !

Safe location, very very secured. They have a security person at the door at all time, all day. My first time in Medellin i didnt know where i was going, i found this place and from the second i got there i felt at ease. Hot water, nice kitchen, nice view, quiet safe location, great host, you can walk around and feel safe. You wont regret it.
