the earth house is a monkey, such as the photos... very comfortable and if you are looking for tranquility, you will have it. The village is three minutes away... the only thing is that you do not wear heels for the curbs that are there. Paco and Claudia are wonderful, very attentive and friendly people. The mini pool was spectacular. My children were spectacular and we enjoyed it. The garden is beautiful and ideal for breakfasts and dinners. Very well equipped kitchen. And in the summer evenings you don't know the heat. Highly recommended place.

Super comfortable and original accommodation in a rural setting opposite to Sierra Mágina itself. The cave was very well organized and well decorated and equipped. Inside there was information about routes, restaurants and things to visit in the area. There is parking right next to the house. We went in winter but for summer the pool looks great. Just halfway between Jaen, Baeza, Ubeda and Cazorla. Being a cave, it's well isolated. If you are very tall in some parts of the cave you have to bend your head hehe. Otherwise, everything was good 👏

Such a unique and special place to stay. We visited as a family of 3 adults and 4 children (ages 2 to 7) and really loved the cave house. It was cool despite daily temperatures of 40C, the pool is great and the restaurant is lovely. I will definitely recommend this to friends, and hope to visit again.

Wonderful stay in an awesome place. Ideal temperature, beautiful decor and style, with closeness and tranquility. Totally recommended, as the site fits any plan. From a getaway with friends (our case) to a romantic end or a family outing. We had a great time and will definitely be back. The horseback riding route, 100% recommended, as are the restaurants in the area, where you can eat very well. We returned relaxed and very happy. The treatment has been spectacular from the moment, worried about our well-being. Everything was super clean and tidy, with all the amenities they advertised, the experience of living in the cave was unforgettable. They were super flexible with both check-in and check-out times. They are totally recommended and I have seen it quite well. The quiet area and the beautiful views.

What's expected of a earth house, experience and being at home

Michelle was super sweet and gave us great tips on where to eat and what to see. The place looks even better than the photos, and the room is amazing—you’re sleeping in a cave! We slept great since it’s cooler inside, which was perfect with the heat. I really loved it. The only thing I didn’t like was that the Wi-Fi didn’t reach the room, but it actually helped me relax and get into a good book.

We stayed at the cave for one night and it’s a unique experience. Pedro has put many thoughts in decoration and our kids love the funky taste of it. Please keep in mind that this is not a hotel style of accommodation, more authentic country style. Pedro is very welcoming too. He came to pick us up in town. Great host! Thanks for accommodations.

The stay at Maria Jose's house was spectacular, the photos are totally like the house. It is an ideal place to be quiet, apart from being able to visit everything, apart from Maria Jose is always attentive to anything you need or want to visit. We will definitely be back for more days because the stay was too short.

Manuel and Josefina were very attentive and available. We didn't miss a thing. For these Easter weekdays, the wood stove was great (wood available). A pleasant stay. We enjoyed a few days at this cave house, a new experience for us.

We had an incredible stay. We weren’t able to stay in the cave we had originally booked, so Carlos upgraded us to an even bigger and more beautiful cave and it completely exceeded expectation. The views from the terrace were stunning, the log fire was cosy, all the facilities and appliances were high quality and new, and the entire property was so cleverly laid out. A really special way to spend New Year.

A wonderful place to disconnect, very quiet. The super nice cave house, has everything you need for long stays. The site is above the village, but the girl who gives the keys guides you to the house, and of course, the views are wonderful. It's not hard to get around the village, it's all around. And if you are going to go to the natural baths they are only 10 km from the house, they have no loss. It may be difficult to access for people with reduced mobility. We will definitely repeat it.

We spent an unforgettable weekend at the *Cueva Cascamorras* to end the year. The cave is spectacular, a perfect blend of comfort and an authentic, unique atmosphere. Ideal for relaxing and enjoying the tranquility in the area. Absolutely an experience that I 100% recommend for those looking for something special. Hope to be back soon!

Great, loved the chance to stay in a cave house!

A fantastic cavehouse. Very peaceful and had everything we needed. About 1.5km walk down hill to the centre of Guadix. 200m from the nearest restaurant and bar. Rolando and Maria were great hosts. Very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic place to relax. An interesting location with a great little museum about the caves as well. You do get noise from the nearby highway when you're outside, but that didn't really disturb us (and you can't hear it in the caves). Manuel and his colleagues were excellent hosts. We really enjoyed our stay - thank you!

We loved the cave house and the pool. Manuel gave us a choice of two houses, and gave us a tour around the museum and the caves. He also took us and another couple to see the sunset in the Badlands which was an amazing place, which was reached by driving along a Rambla. The house was equipped with everything we needed.

Great location! Enjoyed a few peaceful days in the countryside. I loved the views. And the pool was wonderful.

Would highly recommend this property ,from the minute arriving until leaving everything was perfect .Our host greeted us,with a bottle of home made wine and then showed us to the house to which I must say was beyond my expectations.The property was very homely and extremley clean . A place where I was able to relax as I wanted, away from the noise, but close to shops, restaurants, etc. The cave is very nice and was very clean. We loved our stay at Cuevas la Chumbera. While we used the accommodation as a home base to visit many areas outside of Benalua, the time we had at our accommodation was wonderful and will provide our family with happy memories of our travel to Spain. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay.
