We have been staying here over the last 4 years, when we visit UConn, and will miss it now that our daughter has graduated. Keri is wonderful host, welcoming & accommodating. Her home in the woods is a refuge, comfortable, peaceful, and minutes from campus.

I really enjoyed my stay with Stephanie. Her place is tucked away in the woods and very quiet. The wildlife was beautiful—always birds visible from the windows. Stephanie would always respond to texts immediately and went above and beyond to help keep adjust to the new area. She is one of the nicest people I have met. Perfect location for reading and relaxing. Large private space not far from Yale and all the other universities. Excellent place to stay. Highly recommend.

Nancy's place was so beautiful, clean and in the perfect location for the wedding we were in town to attend. She was flexible with our late check-in, helpful with umbrellas in the rain and attentive to any of our needs. The space is super cute and amazingly clean. All of the amenities we could have needed and wanted were plentiful. The beds were comfortable and the location was serene. Make sure to understand the directions before coming. We arrived late at night and it's pretty dark and easy to miss. But you don't want to miss this place! Book it if you can! It's worth every penny!

An interesting old house. Great restaurants in Mystic. A fair amount of road noise.

Pauline was an awesome host and the space was exactly as advertised - clean, in a beautiful location, and situated closely to quaint Litchfield and surrounding towns for hikes. Would highly recommend staying at her place

Our stay was Wonderful, comfy and cosy, private and quiet. We loved the area too, the location was perfect as it was easy to get to restaurants, beach etc. When we go back to the area for another visit, we will book this wonderful place again!

My experience with Danele and her inn was so smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. Danele is such a gracious, kind host - in addition to providing super clear instructions about the check-in, parking, and information related to our stay, she was extremely thoughtful and generous throughout our few days up in Stafford. The suite that we stayed in was well-equipped with everything we needed and super clean. Danele practices a rare kind of warm hospitality that we really appreciated. I hope others are able to enjoy time at the Innkeeper's Place like we did!

This was the perfect location for our short stay in CT! We were close enough to Mystic for a couple of days trips and then super close to Mohegan Sun for a basketball game. Had everything we needed and would definitely stay here again for future Mohegan events!

The space is really comfortable and cute. This is a great option if you need to crash for a bit in Bloomfield. The kitchen area is small, but it served our needs. The grounds are beautiful and the park grounds close by are too. Thank you!

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt. Leider hat es jeden Tag geregnet und wir konnten den Pool und Außenbereich nicht richtig nutzen. Ausstattung war hervorragend und dank des Spielzimmers war die Zeit gut zu überbrücken. Alles ganz hervorragend!!

I recently stayed at the Riverside Retreat Guest House and had a truly relaxing experience. The space was quiet, peaceful, and cozy—perfect for unwinding after a day exploring Mystic. It’s a wonderful spot to disconnect and enjoy the natural surroundings. While the guest house was well-appointed and comfortable, a small closet or hanging space for clothes would make it even better for longer stays. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway near Mystic. Ideal for solo travelers or couples who appreciate tranquility and charm.

Easy to find when I figured out the gravel driveway. Every detail was considered, even the small items. Hosts very responsive when I needed something. This is the PERFECT location for Taft parents.

A rare gem; Cute, adorable, cozy, impeccable cleanliness and a fabulous owner! What more does one, or, two need to become a great getaway? Nothing because Rebecca has thought of it all and you don’t need to! Everything is so comfortable and inviting. What a great time we had at her spot! Plenty to do in the area from shopping to dining to a rodeo and dog show. We packed it all into 3 days and had a great time. We’re thrilled to have found this peaceful and tranquil spot. This was our second stay with Amanda and her family. It was quiet and peaceful. It is a very short drive to a property that we are working on and cuts our commuting time considerably. We would stay again if need be.

Both my husband and I are handicapped and the walk from the parking area to the front door was long and downhill making it some what difficult for us. Marshall and Barbara carried all our stuff back and forth for us. Marshall stopped by each day to check on us and recommended a real great eatery. The house was immaculate and very roomy.

I really enjoyed the beautiful home, the place was in pristine condition, furnished and decorated very nicely. Razul was very nice when I talked to him. loved the place would definitely stay another night here!

Oh my gosh, I loved this Airbnb! Not only is it charming, cozy and clean, it is aesthetically beautiful inside and out. The property is absolutely gorgeous and they have done such a good job. The house is old and almost on the historic level, but the design and functionality of the Airbnb does not feel dated at all. It’s attached to the main house, but I didn’t hear a thing! Karen was the most responsive host ever and gave me a little tour when I arrived. She truly cares about the guest experience. The only thing to note is that if you are over 6’1” the upstairs bedroom and bathroom might be a bit tight for you. It was perfect for me, but I could see a super tall person having trouble with the short ceilings.

I was in town for a friends wedding. I booked this beautiful studio. The host Queenie was very helpful and responsive. Check in was easy and flexible which helped a lot since we arrived around midnight. It was a peaceful setting that felt like home while we stayed. 10-15 minutes away from shopping, food etc. Overall, I would say this two night stay was amazing 10/10. I would definitely recommend for anyone staying in the area. Thanks Queenie
