Cottage holiday rentals in Cooma

The photos don't do this place justice , it's beautiful and tranquil. Everything was nice and clean. The two extra bedrooms are external (just FYI) we didn't read the description properly as it was very last minute for my mum's funeral but we made it work. Fire by the river was amazing.

We booked Moonshine Cottage as a weekend away with friends. I didn’t realise it was so close to the (very quiet) main street which was a bonus. On our first night we had dinner at Ladbroke Distillery and Brewhouse right next door which had delicious pizza and cocktails.

We had a fantastic stay in Crackenback at the cottage - the kitchen had everything we needed and lots of space for the whole family. The outlook over the fields was amazing with horses, kangaroos and deer to keep us all entertained. The location was great to explore the surrounding area and we especially enjoyed the Wild Brumby distillery just a few minutes away. The only downside was the proximity of the separate studio which meant we could hear everything from the family of 3 staying there with two very large dogs.

We had a beautiful stay at Windy Fig Farm , fantastic hosts Glenn & Kerrie and very stunning place! We enjoyed the views, wonderful peacefulness and the spa was amazing… We were lucky enough to wake up to the land covered with snow and have the full experience, there was freshly baked loaf of bread which was fluffy and lovely! I’m looking forward to staying again, thank you again

Peter's place is amazing and we got to enjoy to the fullest. The hot tub was definitely the highlight. The place is close to the shops and the town is quiet and peaceful.

We had such a lovely stay at the farmhouse. It was peaceful and refreshing, just what we needed. The view was stunning, especially during sunrise. It felt so special being here with my husband, our dog Leo, and my brothers and sister-in-law. We shared laughs, good food, and quality time together. Everything went smoothly, and we’re leaving with beautiful memories. 💛🌿🐾

We had a fantastic stay. The cottage was clean, cozy and as described. It’s in a peaceful location and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Host was responsive to our messages too. Best of all- dog friendly. Recommend for anyone travelling with a dog or just looking for a comfortable and quiet retreat.

Thomas was a lovely host. He was super responsive so all my enquires. We had a flexible check in. The cottage was exactly as described and met our needs perfectly. We also enjoyed the private wine tasting!

We had the most wonderful, relaxing stay – such a beautifully decorated cottage and the morning sunrises from the balcony, nestled among the sprawling garden, were just wonderful. So cosy, and the host was so kind and responsive, always there to assist with any issue. We would love to stay again some time.

We had a lovely stay at the little house with my family. it was super close to thredbo and the town. we were lucky to have arrived in the middle of a snow storm. there was plenty of snow up in the mountains and it even snowed at the Airbnb. Prudence was a lovely and accommodating host. thank you!

What a gem. We lived the location it was super cosy, clean, and tidy nothing to do but enjoy after a superb rise along the rail trail. Highly recommend.

Super nice views of the lake, only 7-8 mins into the nearest town and close to Selwyn snowfields (which is why I chose to stay here). Careful driving in/out early/late at night, LOTS of animals on the roads (cool for my passengers!). Was provided a free loaf of super nice sourdough bread upon arrival (which I enjoyed!) The house was warm, and the host offered to restock the wood fire each day (it was winter) and it was lovely coming back to a super warm/toasty place. Beds were comfortable, although one of the 'rooms' is just a corner with a curtain so not super private but for a family it's fine. Host was super responsive and helpful. No wifi, which is described in the listing - but I had 0 Vodafone reception (Telstra was OK) so if this is important to you you should consider this. This did give my kids a chance to experience using a DVD player for the first time in their life! haha (great choice of movies). Would stay here again.

We had a fantastic experience at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. Communication with the host was seamless; they were friendly, accommodating, and provided great local tips. We especially loved the cozy vibe of the place and the thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay! Anna’s cottage was beautiful.. Very relaxing, Plenty of space, Beautiful surroundings and so Peaceful. Kitchen facilities were great. Bedrooms / Bathrooms were clean We had everything we needed. Thankyou for a lovely relaxing weekend away :) We had no problems at all .

Loved the peaceful and private location. Lovely decor with beautiful furnishings. Cosy and warm, and the heated tiles in the bathroom were awesome! The basic breakfast supplies were a pleasant surprise ( bread, milk, muesli, jam etc). Superbly located for wineries, truffle farms and cute country cafes. Wine connoisseurs will enjoy Lark Hill Winery.

We had a lovely time staying at this beautiful cottage. The place was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views were stunning and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect escape from our busy routine. The hosts were kind and responsive, which made our experience even better. Although our son fell sick during the trip, we really appreciated the support and understanding from the hosts — it meant a lot to us. Overall, it's a beautiful and quiet spot to relax with family. The caretakers and Ken were extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. They were very accomodating to my family and my small children. Upon arrival the caretakers had the fire going to the house was very warm and inviting which was an amazing welcome. The guide provided to us upon booking was filled with clear instructions and things to do around the area and we will absolutely be back to stay when we have more of a chance to enjoy those amenities - we got to explore the property a little bit but running around organising wedding things took up majority of our time this trip. We will absolutely be back and are already planning our next trip to the OutPost!!

A brilliant place to escape and unwind - particular mentions must go to sitting on the verandah watching the sunrise, the birdlife/ wildlife, the wood fire and, of course, the resident dogs. A great base for heading into Kosciuszko National Park.

Another very comfortable stay at Isabella Plains. This is our third visit. Suits us for visiting family nearby. Quiet and safe area. The only issue we may point out is that the internet connection is very weak.
