Beach House Get Away

SamRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had an amazing holiday. The house was clean, stylish and homely with loads of added extra's like use of beach items, organic veg delivery and fabulous trikes that my kids loved. It was so kind and generous of the family to let us use them. There are woodland walks right outside the house which the dogs enjoyed and a 5/10 min stroll to the beach. Beach is great for body boards with lovely cafes and lifeguards on duty when we were there. We visited Godrevy twice too which was a 10 min drive - loads of parking, loads of different beaches walkable from the car parks, cafes and seal watching (a short walk up the hill]. The host was so relaxed and responsive. We would definitely recommend.

Luxury 3 Bedroom Waterside Property with Slipway

JoshuaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Great views. Peaceful location. Great to be on the waters edge watching the tide flow - lots of wildlife to spot including Kingfishers. Lovely welcome hamper which was filled with such lovely local produce. Great showers. Good heating. Thought of most things, cutlery, glassware, cocktail stuff, nice dining table. There is a ferry that operates nearby that can get you to Falmouth. You can paddle to Falmouth too but we ventured only as far as Trelissick. The host provides a kayak and a paddleboard if you fancy it! The Heron Inn is a good pub. We ate there once and it’s a very short walk away. The cafe too, at the pier, provides really good coffee and pastries as well as some household goods to keep you going.

Family home w/ sea views and superb beach access!

BonnieRating, 5 stars9 months ago
My family and myself had a wonderful stay at Leeanne's place in Downderry, a charming beach town in the south-west coast of Cornwall. Maria, the family's housekeeper, was our main point of contact. Her hospitality and warmth made us feel right at home. She checked on us via email every few days and popped in midweek to notify us about the upcoming trash day. The house was pristinely kept and spacious enough for our crowd of 5 adults and 3 children. It was well equipped with everything from kitchen appliances to bathroom amenities. The sliding glass doors lining the house offered spectacular views of the ocean. The beach was right down the street, about a minute walk. Leanne provided beach towels, chairs, sand toys, and even kayaks and paddle boards. The hot tub was a major crowd pleaser for the kids and adults alike, especially after the occasional breezy day by the beach. The kids also loved the well stocked children's library and board games. We greatly enjoyed our stay here!

Suite21@RWY Luxury House with Parking

AshleighRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We really enjoyed our stay at suite 21. It was beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. We particularly liked the heritage of the building, combined with modern features. Zaneta was very responsive and gave clear instructions on how to access the property, as well as assisting us with a high chair for our baby. The location was perfect for our weekend stay, with lots of restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. We would certainly stay here again.

Traditional Cottage with Hot Tub

OllyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Jodie’s charming cottage in Kingsand! The location is unbeatable—right by the sea just steps from the beach. Waking up to and enjoying breakfast in the sunny courtyard was pure bliss. The cottage itself was immaculate, stylishly decorated with a cozy, nautical vibe, and equipped with everything we needed, from a well-stocked kitchen to superfast Wi-Fi. The host was incredibly responsive and provided great local tips—we loved exploring the coastal paths and popping into the nearby Devonport Inn for a delicious meal. Kingsand is such a picturesque, unspoilt village, and this place made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing Cornish escape! 5 stars

I can’t say enough positive things about this beautiful house. The most perfect location with everything you need within walking distance. Very central for other Cornish sites from Eden project to Newquay. I loved the social kitchen and living space and have made many wonderful memories here that I was cherish. I cried when we left, if that is not a sign of a perfect holiday. I don’t know what is. Thank you Lucy and Chris, you are great hosts and I would love to stay again.

Charming Cornwall Cottage

LauraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Very spacious and comfortable home as described in listing. Suited us traveling with my parents, husband, 2 small children and baby. Easy to find and easily parked 2 large cars on the driveway. Although fairly busy around you couldn’t hear noise once inside. The house was warm when we got there, there are thick walls which I’m sure keeps it cosy in the winter (along with a log burner). I messaged Ella and she replied quickly explaining how to turn the heating off and we opened the windows to cool it down. Everything you could need for a holiday in terms of kitchen equipment was available. Good size bathrooms mix one with a bath and the other with a shower. We didn’t have any pets with us but there was a tray with dog treats, a ball and a few other bits which I thought was nice. There was also a separate games room/ bar which we didn’t use but would be good if traveling with older children. We only stayed a couple of nights but could easily stay for a longer period.

Finest Retreats | The Old Counting House

Hanif Rating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Pictures do not do justice to this cottage. As soon as we walked in , it was wow ! Very well equipped , very clean , bathrooms spotless , bed linen crisp and clean , lovely hot tub and a wood burning fire were a welcome bonus . Lots of parking . We even managed to get locked out but the manager was super helpful and let us in . The owners have taken great care furnishing this cottage , could not find a single fault . Lovely welcome hamper was left in the kitchen for us which was a lovely gesture . Spent 7 nights and worth every penny . Beds super comfy , lots of space to sit on sofa and couches . Outdoor furniture and a bbq was on site which was cleaned to an inch of its life , gardens very well kept , overall , well done to the owners , manager and cleaning staff .

Seaside cottage 55m fm beach,parkingseaview

DavidRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We stayed for three nights between Xmas and New Years 2024. The cottage is very cute and a cool place to stay. Its three minutes walk from the beach and perfect for taking the dog for a morning walk. The kitchen had everything we could need and the village has an excellent tapas restaurant and pub both a short walk from the building. We used on road car parking as our car is quite large, the garage opposite would provide parking if needed in the busier months and is easily operated with the key fob provided. Kerry was on hand to help with all our questions, most of which would have been answered if we had read her clear instructions properly! Thanks very much for letting us stay!

Luxury Cornish barn conversion & hot tub

CameronRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and greeted us on arrival making us feel right at home. We had a uncontrollable issue with the wifi dropping but they were here to help immediately and offered us another area to use with games and tv if we wished, but the wifi was fixed very quickly by the hosts. Shadow the dog is beautiful and very friendly. We loved that he roamed around the grounds. The kitchen was very well equipped with anything you need. Anything that you may have wanted even like fire lighters the hosts had thought of. We had a hot tub, fire pit, BBQ and even robes for the hot tub. The place was pristine cleanliness wise. We can’t wait to return!

Herons - a unique waterside cottage in Cornwall

DanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Simply beautiful place to stay for the week. Once you’ve got your head around the logistics, the row or walk to St Mawes was totally manageable even with a 1 year old! The kayaks, SUPs and boats etc give you enough to do without having to go anywhere! And a good amount of books and board games to keep everyone busy if the weather is typically Cornish. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Little Acres 2 person cabin

KyleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Leanne's cottage was absolutely fantastic - a beautiful hidden gem with a stunning view across open fields. The bed was super comfortable and the little place had everything we could possibly have needed for our short stay near Falmouth. We will definitely be looking to stay when we are next in the area.

Cabin retreat

SadieRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at the lovely Cabin and its surrounding small orchard. We were able to pitch our Bell tent for extra family next to the cabin which was perfect. Lovely Peaceful location and really well set up. Great supply of wood for the fire. Cabin was cosy and clean. Toilet was fab (best compost loo I’ve used and have used a lot!) Short walk to showers (which were lovely and warm) and a sink we could wash up in on the small campsite on the farm. Kids adored the hammock. Great location on the Lizard. Only thing I can think to mention is that there is no cool box so if wanting to keep food cold best to bring your own, we bought a bag of ice from the local shop to keep things cold in ours. We will definitely be back!

The Robinson's Caravan in Rock

SueRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We already knew that Porthilly Holiday Park and Lily's caravan was in the perfect location for accessing everything we wanted: dog walks along the beautiful Camel estuary, a few minutes' walk to lovely little Porthilly cove with its 12th century church, and the cheffy restaurants of Rock and Padstow on your doorstep. So were very impressed on arrival to find this great family static so welcoming: clean, modern, bags of room, a nice outlook, well-equipped and very comfortable to spend the week in. We both slept well, the shower is fab, a full fridge/freezer like home, and a bonus was the comfy rattan furniture on the private decking. We are already planning a few more stays at this one. We don't feel we need to look any further when wanting to chill out in our favourite part of Cornwall.

Stunning Cabin with private Garden near Newquay

NathaleeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay, very close to the A30 so we’re able to drive around Cornwall, as we were visiting family. 15 mins drive from Newquay and it was just a lovely place to stay. The log fire was so cosy, we don’t have a dog but can easily see how dog friendly it is. An added bonus was the number of DVDs and board games, perfect for rainy days or to play in the evening! Thanks so much Abi and Simon 😊
