Overlooking farmland and Hot Water Beach, you can enjoy the view from the comfort of your bed. You'll be close enough to the beach to hear the waves crashing and even hear kiwi in the nearby bush. Please note that the beach is NOT a "4 min walk" away as advertised on our listing (we are working to remove this). Our studio is approximately 1.5km from the beach.

Each site is convenated by QEII National Trust who describe Mahakirau "outstanding for it's ecology and wildlife value with brown kiwi, kaka, Hochsetetter's and Archey's frogs all present". Our Rustic Cabin on the farm sleeps 2 comfortably, great for a couple. Only 5 mins walk to town, and 5 mins drive to the nearest sandy beach, a special place to kick back or a great base to explore the Coromandel. Enjoy beautiful sunsets, gaze at the stars. Ample parking beside the cabin lots of space for your boat. Use of the Camp Kitchen opposite with BBQ,filleting bench , we have 20+ sheep 14 lambs and our Dog handsome boy Gus
