Tom's cottage was everything we could have hoped for and more. The cozy atmosphere, crackling fireplace, and delightful Christmas decorations made our stay feel magical. The picturesque view from the windows was stunning, and Linda’s personal touches were evident throughout the property. A perfect holiday retreat!

The Family stay was excellent for all ages the house was perfect big kitchen quiet to room and all big bedrooms. Easy to find and close to some local bits and easy to get to Carrick on Shannon and lough key Forrest park

David greeted us on arrival, even though we were running very late. His communication for all aspects of our stay (check-in, information etc) was outstanding. He was friendly and approachable. The accommodation was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The welcome pack of bread, milk, butter and cake was a lovely surprise. All of our party would recommend the accommodation and have nothing but praise for our host David for his helpfulness.

Nice place to stay. Had booked for two adults four children and decided to leave younger two at home so changed the booking. Messaged Patricia but the price remained the same as she said it's for the house even though when we got there then the third bedroom was locked. We only stayed one night so it was grand. It was very hot and we opened the velux windows to go to the shop and it poured when we were out so when we got back the children's duvet was wet.

Lovely quiet location short walk to Lough Rynn castle where we attended a wedding.The house was well equipped spotlessly clean and beds were very comfortable Chris also left supplies for breakfast as well as little treats. Thank you Chris

Had an incredible stay at this countryside estate outside of Mullingar. George, Sarah, and Dasha were incredible hosts and the other people living on the property were very friendly. The farm-fresh eggs were delicious and the unit was stocked with everything we needed for the perfect getaway. Would be back in a heartbeat.

Everything was really a very pleasant experience! The descriptions and pictures were spot on! Fergus is such a down to earth person that is there to help with whatever questions or needs you might have. It is definitely off the beaten path but we found that added to the charm. Overall it was more than we expected and you can’t go wrong booking with Fergus!

Mary‘s accommodation was absolutely wonderful., warm, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. I felt very welcome, especially with the generous food. Thank you so much. The place is extremely well equipped (even an air fryer!) The bed was incredibly comfortable. I slept so well. The bathroom was also a highlight, with a large shower, lovely warm water, and a heated towel rack, such a treat! I also appreciated the smart little details, like the bedside light switch. The town itself is extremely charming and very clean, and the whole area is just beautiful – peaceful, well-kept, and perfect for walking or hiking. Mary was a pleasure to write to – so kind and caring. Thank you Mary so so much 🩷

I booked this place when travelling for Work. I wished I’d had more time! Absolutely beautiful location, great little village with good coffee, a sauna and lots of activities to get involved with. I saw a heron, cormorants, swifts and more whilst staying here. Definitely recommend taking a book out to the decking for a nice relaxing read. The view from the master bedroom is beautiful. Would book again!

This is a gem of an apartment up a few stairs inside. It was extremely clean, well laid out and everything looked brand new. Very comfortable bed and loads of hanging space. Gerry met us and showed us around the apartment and how things worked and he was extremely considerate. There is a large balcony with outdoor chairs and a table which we appreciated. We really recommend a stay here especially as it is a few minutes walk to the river with lovely walks alongside..

Irish cottage dream!! ... that is how I would describe Toddy's. I stayed in the Hideaway in the back and it was just like the pictures. Perfect for 1 or 2 people. A very comfortable bed, kitchenette and everything you need. The location is close enough to drive to Ballinagh (or a long walk) and Cavan Town, and private and peaceful. You wake up in the morning to gorgeous views and sheep in the next field. I also had a peek into the cottage as it wasn't booked and would love to stay there next time! Aishling was VERY responsive and proactive and appeared within the minute when I needed some help. Great job Aishling!

Had a fabulous overnight stay at Trionas place. Everything we needed for a short visit to the area to catch up with family nearby. Her place was very cosy and clean and easily accommodated our group of 6 made of 3 generations. We all remarked how peaceful and quiet it was. Triona is a fabulous host, very responsive and we were so grateful for the selection of groceries left for us. Value for money most definitely and we hope to stay again the next time we are down her way. Thanks for everything Brian

We had a wonderful stay and rented the full space—perfect for our family. Michael and Nicola are everything Airbnb was meant to be: warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Unlike many hosts these days who are remote owners, they live on-site and truly care about their guests. They greeted us with enthusiasm and gave great tips on local sights. Our 6-year-old daughter had an amazing time playing with their daughter (also 6). The property is very family-friendly with a zip line, tennis court, playhouse, trampoline, and two friendly dogs who acted as our guides on peaceful walks. The private suite was quiet and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. This was a personal, memorable experience—highly recommended!

Fabulous place to stay for a weekend away. Gorgeous views. Very short walk to town and other amenities. Treats, tea, coffee and other items were lovely to find on arrival.

Had the best few nights here. Maria was so lovely and welcoming. The views were amazing and the place was spotless. We loved feeding the ducks and playing with the puppy. Can’t wait to come back

I had a super great time at Niamh's place!! They were super helpful in getting there and back and were very communicative. The place was super cute and clean, and the pets were adorable and very very sweet. I would totally stay here again and can't recommend it enough!!

Paula was very friendly and helpful, we had our two dogs on their first trip and it was ideal. Large garden to run around and the walks along the canal were fabulous. Paula left us bread, milk and cereal which was very convenient. There was music upstairs in the bar which was busy but not too noisy.

This place was such a great stay! We enjoyed being in this cute little town and having everything we needed close by! Cormac gave great things to do nearby and we took advantage of driving around and sightseeing while we were in the area! The home did get a little warm and stuffy at night, especially if you close the bedroom door… but Cormac and his wife were amazing and bright bus over a dan as soon as we asked! They were great hosts and if we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here in the future!

Gerry and Josephine were the most fabulous hosts! Gerry stayed in contact in the lead up to our visit and kept me updated with things we needed to know. He greeted us (with his lovely dogs) on arrival and gave some really helpful recommendations on restaurants and taxis. The place was spotless and we had everything we needed. We had the best stay and will definitely be back!

This was a beautiful apartment in the country to relax. We actually did a lot of sightseeing in the area. Very comfy bed and two toilets! Our host was gracious and thoughtful.
