The Deise Greenway and Copper Coast beaches are easily accessed nearby.

Lighthouse keepers; Home of the year finalist

Welcome to the lighthouse keepers house! We have been voted as one of Ireland’s top 50 places to stay by the Irish Independent #Fab50 ( number 26 :)) We spent two years renovating this 200 year old building. In May 2020, it featured on RTE Home of the year and became a finalist in the top 7 homes in Ireland. Irish lights built all 76 lighthouses & keepers houses in Ireland, and this is the only lighthouse keepers house in a town in Ireland!

I would love to welcome you to my house which is ideally located a 3 minute drive from Waterford City. Surrounded by private mature gardens, it is an ideal place for you to unwind. The rooms are bright, modern and sparkling clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and all rooms are on the ground floor and served by 50 mgbs WiFi. Centrally heated there is also a stove and an open fireplace in the two cosy living rooms.

Come and stay in our beautiful little cottage just off the main N25, 5 minutes from Youghal town and 20 minutes from Dungarvan and the wonderful greenway, 15 minutes from Ardmore. Cork 40 minutes. Ideal location for a summer break with a choice of local beaches Ardmore, Whiting Bay and Youghal. Local town Youghal has many take aways that delivery and also has a wonderful choice of beautiful restaurants.
