Ancient family house, recently renovated by architects with traditional technics and natural elements as wood, iron, and local clay. The structure and basic furniture were handmade, from the stairs to the lights in the open space, made of the old doors and bee’s wax. The swimming pool was built from an old granite water tank with a view from the river just up to the sea. You will love this place due to its location, the country atmosphere so near the beach, and the uniqueness of the house.

The Sun House

The Casa do Sol is part of the Casa da Terra where I live. A 4,000 m2 space, in the middle of a Carvalhal, where there are two more bungalows. Lots of privacy and guests feel at home. Quiet space with green areas; leisure activities, table tennis, swimming pool, trampoline and good sunsets... This is a unique space, with stunning views of the waterfall and surrounding nature. Ideal for a weekend of adventure! Come prepared for poor cellular network and slow Wi-Fi, as the location is isolated. On the other hand, the sound of nature takes on a fantastic dimension, with the river water and birds surrounding us completely. Access is made (in the last 500 meters) by land and it is necessary to pay attention to the directions we provide so that you do not get lost.

An excellent place to rest and recharge your batteries in a small oak forest in Covas in the Serra d'Arga. The dome has a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and a bathroom with outdoor shower just a few metres away. The BATH is PRIVATE, even if it appears otherwise in an earlier comment. There are several natural lakes with pure water and hiking trails in the region. The beaches of Moledo and Caminha are about 30 minutes away. For 25,- you can rent our tent sauna.
