Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Covington Township

We stayed at Oak View during the first week of June 2025 and had a truly wonderful experience. The home is beautifully designed and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was attentive and responsive without being intrusive. We spent most days relaxing on the deck, enjoying the peaceful surroundings—and even sneaking in a few naps. It was the perfect escape for a restful weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is perfect. There wasn't a single item you could think of that wasn't there. It had everything, and it was very well organized. Perfect hygiene from the bedrooms and bathrooms to the basement. Everything was spotless, well-furnished, with game rooms and a mini-theater for the whole family to enjoy. My family and I really enjoyed it, and we plan to return this summer, God willing. AAAAAAA+++++

We absolutely loved our stay at the Sunset Cabin! It was super cozy and spotless, with the most peaceful surroundings. You could tell Michelle put a lot of thought into making it feel like a real retreat. The hot tub was a total highlight - perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. Michelle was an amazing host, super responsive, and made us feel right at home. The late checkout was a lovely bonus. If you're looking to escape and enjoy nature, we'd totally recommend this spot. We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as pictured—beautifully remodeled, in excellent condition, and incredibly cozy. It had everything we needed to feel right at home, including all the essential amenities. Wendy was an outstanding host from beginning to end—responsive, proactive, and thoughtful, always one step ahead in anticipating our needs. The canoes were a wonderful bonus, offering easy lake access and a lot of fun on the water. We also loved the nearby playgrounds and enjoyed relaxing at the community pool. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped getaway—we’d absolutely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was clean, spacious, very warm despite the cold, and had a terrific pool table and air hockey table. Our family relaxed and spent good time together.

This was my second stay at Rob’s place, and once again it was a great experience. The house, tucked away in the Green Ridge area of Scranton, is quiet, charming, and full of character. It has that cozy, old-home feel that’s both welcoming and comfortable. Rob is a very attentive host—quick to respond and clearly thoughtful about making sure everything goes smoothly. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town.

Really enjoying staying at the apartment. Very clean, good location - short drive to “downtown” and to the lake. Very quiet, backyard bbq and patio was a nice plus. Would stay here again!

This place was cozy, clean, and felt just like home. It’s in a great location—within walking distance of plenty of delicious local restaurants and fun activities. We loved how easy it was to explore the area without needing to drive. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay that’s close to food, attractions, and also a short drive to hiking and other things to do in the Poconos, this is a perfect choice!

My gf and I love this location. I am a local and when she comes to visit we rent this place! Its so nicely decorated and I love the brick walls. The apartment also offers little extras like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There are little containers with floss sticks, q tips and cotton pads. They also have complimentary coffee pods which is a blessing haha. The owners are so responsive and friendly I will book here every time my gf comes to visit! Thank you for a great stay in the heart of this adorable town!

This is a great place to relax, both indoors and outside. Very roomy with comfortable beds and furniture. Great outdoor sitting area. Cats that greet you as you arrive. And an incredibly friendly deer who is so cute stays near the property. Good restaurants are a short drive away.

Sarah's loft was exactly as described. Parking was handy and the space felt safe. We were able to walk to a fantastic Italian restaurant as well as a nice walking path near the river. We definitely recommend this loft, especially for couples.

Tawny was a great host. She communicated with me throughout my stay to make sure things went smoothly. Her hospitality is 10/10 and would recommend booking with.

Jackie's condo is spacious and welcoming. Beautiful lakefront property, minutes from Big Boulder. Close to all the local restaurants. Layout is larger than it appears on the listing. Felt right at home!

We had a pleasant stay at Paul's Airbnb. My wife and I stayed here on a work trip. It had all the amenities to be a home away from home.

We had a family trip and this place is awesome. It felt like home. Well maintained, clean and organized. Pool access is also good to have and its on the back of property. Overall I can't say how good the place is. Its too awesome.

Amy has an amazing property. Everything was beautiful, we had plenty of linens. We had a grill night and she had plenty of utensils (cutting board, knives, etc.) so we didn’t have to worry about buying those things, friendly community, steps away from the pool and the lake, I can’t recommend this place enough, thank you Amy!

We truly enjoyed Sharon's place! Its very clean, with great surroundings and so many little thoughtful details. The balcony faces the pool which is very convenient. Rule pools are quite strict ( have to drop off pick up entry bracelets every time, no kids in warm pool/spa). Great restaurants nearby!

Had a wonderful time at Jan's place. We celebrated our very first family reunion. Beautiful setting with access to all kinds of amenities. Stay at Jan's... guarantee you won't be disappointed!
