Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

The Bothy is a small self contained unit within the grounds of our B and B .It has a lounge area with TV , DVD and wood burning stove. There is a small kitchen area with kettle , toaster , George Forman grill ,microwave and fridge. The bathroom has a shower , toilet and basin. Designed for two people with a comfy double mattress on the mezannine. It is rented on a self catering basis or we can provide continental breakfast hampers for an additional £18 ,must be pre ordered. Nearby EV charging .

The garden has woodlands, waterfalls, wildlife and exceptional planting for you to roam in. The bothy has no mains water or electricity so is a real alternative experience, with separate flush toilet and washing facilities. Otherwise all home comforts are provided with double bed, kitchenette and wood-burning stove to create a cosy atmosphere
