Holiday rentals in Cumberland County

Great location in Farmville. Walk around the corner, rent a bike and a few pedals puts you on the High Bridge Trail. One block off adorable Main Street full of cute shops and restaurants. Did not realize this was the Green Front haven for furniture shopping! Super spacious and nicely decorated. Two full baths was great to have. Kitchen fully supplied. Window units kept everything nicely cooled. Easy access and parking. You will feel like a local here, it’s great!

We were in town for a family wedding and wanted a peaceful place to stay where our dogs could get some exercise. Luke was extremely accommodating and friendly. The location was beautiful and we enjoyed the trails with our dogs. The cabin had everything we needed but kept the rustic charm. I enjoyed watching the horses in the pasture from the back screened in porch. We will definitely return when visiting family again.

This is a really unique, amazing space. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful. We walked around and looked at all the building and decorations...so many amazing things to see. I think the covered bridge was our favorite.

A very comfortable house 10 minutes south of Dillwyn. Perfect for seminary visits. There is a basement tenant that I don’t remember from the listing. Overall a very nice location and we will definitely stay again

I can’t say enough good things about this place! Clean, quiet, peaceful. Very well stocked and you can tell she adds her personal touch with fresh baked cookies for you. Very beautiful! I’ll be back with a longer stay for sure.

Words do not do this place justice! Just the drive to get to the property sets a beautiful scene, but once you get over the little hill leading to the property itself? Unbelievable. The house is spacious, clean, and has tons of games and DVDs available. I had a work emergency that I had to handle remotely while I was there and the Wi-Fi was up to the task! Beds were extremely comfortable and the decor was adorable. There are plenty of seating options down at the dock too, all of which are well maintained. Joanna was an excellent host; I mentioned that my kids are avid swimmers and she advised me that they had some algae growth (which is advertised and was expected), but she took it upon herself to rake it up from around the dock and even left some inflatable floats and life jackets out for us! Joanna was quick to respond while we were there, even though she was out of town. We made some incredible memories! I could not recommend this house, or this host, enough!!!

The Carriage House is beautiful. From the decor, well-stocked kitchen to luxurious linens, we were very comfortable in this home for a long weekend. Just outside of Farmville in a beautiful rural setting, is a jewel of a home. We were a party of 4, busy with different wedding festivities all weekend. It was lovely to start our days on the porch with coffee and come home to relax on the porch to enjoy the each other. Thanks to our host for a well stocked kitchen, bathrooms and all the goodies for us to enjoy. We appreciated your flexibility when we needed it! I hope to return to enjoy more of the area, shop at Greenfront and stay in this lovely home once again.

Wilmer’s place was super comfortable and had beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Wilmer was was responsive and helpful. Will definitely be back!!
