Čenkovice is about 2 hours by car from Prague or 1 hour from Hradec Králové by road I/11 or 1.5 hours from Brno by road I/43. They are also easily accessible from Poland over 17 km distant crossing in Dolní Lipka. The bus stop is about 300 meters from the cottage. Parking is free right next to the cottage. The cottage is located in a picturesque valley by the Vydra River in the 1st zone of the Šumava National Park. Due to the location, there is a ban on motorized vehicles and bicycles. The cottage can only be reached on foot, either from the Antýgl parking lot (3.2 km) or from the parking lot Čeňkova pila (3.9 km).
