Holiday rentals with lake access in Dakshina Kannada

The place is great. The whole house to yourself. The host and caretaker went out of there way to help us. I highly recommend this place.

It was an amazing stay; just had a bit of problem finding the place as g maps ensured to get us confused. But, better would be to call Rahana and follow her instructions & direction.. And once you are in Avaara, the real “HOME” in the word homestay just comes alive; I mean the care and warmth you get is out of the world. The hospitality and love we received from Uncle and aunty was amazing, the property was a stunner and Mr.Joy the caretaker was a joy in every sense. If Rahana was for the Homestay, Joy got his points for the food(he did serve us one of the best Mangalorean Chicken and bbq’s). Again thanks Rahana for this beautiful memory..Convey my regards and gratitude to uncle and Aunty ( we just loved those small parting gestures and goodies).. Avaara, we will see you again pretty soon 😁

Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a lovely two-day stay at Melmane Janapriya Home Stay. The place is peaceful, clean, and feels like a true home away from home. The host, Kasturi, is incredibly kind and welcoming. On the second night of my stay, I couldn't step out for dinner because of rain, and hadn’t booked the food package. I asked Kasturi if there was any chance of getting food, and even though the meal was prepared for other guests, she still offered me a portion without hesitation 😊 Highly recommend this homestay if you're looking for a warm, homely experience in a beautiful setting.

We had a wonderful stay at Arun's place very warm and friendly host . Our specially thanks to Purru ( Mr Purshottam) who visited us every day to enquire . The couple who prepared the home like food was simple and always willing to keep us comfortable . The last being a dog lover we got so freindly with a couple of them and felt sad leaving them. We will always remember and hope to be back there again . Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and location a home away from home . Cheers

I am really happy with my recent visit to Gudloo Resort. This a private resort in the middle of Sakleshpur and Chikmagalur on a massive private land, roughly 13 Acres. This is built on a slope of a hill at one end bordered by a forest in front and leading up to an artificial lake built towards the other end. The best part of this place is they don't have a phone network and that works wonders if you are looking for peace and tranquil. The villas and kitchen is aimed towards luxury with all the amenities. There is a special place in my heart for the staff from here. We went there on our anniversary and the staff went above and beyond their means to make us feel extra special. It is tough to get this right attitude of staff and their manager, so full points to them. It is very evident that they are super courteous as well as professional. We had an extra issue where the remaining payment was not going through and the manager even asked us to pay after the return journey is done.

Arjun was truly a super host. I booked his place for my parents and they loved the place and service. Arjun also went out of his way to fulfil their last minute requirements and made their stay a very pleasant one.
