Wonderful & Cosy Vacation Home

Spend your vacation in Sønderho - Denmark's Most Beautiful Village in 2011. Beautiful and charming fanøhaus, carefully restored in 2011, with emphasis given to the conservation of the old fanø style with small windows with its distinctive color. The house is bright and beautiful with accommodation for 6 people. The interior is a tasteful mix of old and new. Situated on 2500 m2 of heather-clad area, about 1 km. from Sønderho city center The house has 6 beds, beautiful new kitchen with dishwasher, a large oven and induction. You will find a comfortable spacious terrace, with good shelter from the east and west winds. The property stands in the wild and there is by nature plenty of heather and pine trees. The house is 110 m2, is thatched roofed and is painted in the old style over the small windows in black, white and green - symbolizing sadness, joy and hope. Over the entrance door there's a hatch, a "arkengaf", which was once the entrance to the attic where they kept hay, heather, and others like that stored. On the ground floor, you will find the entrance hall, a spacious living room with large corner couch, and a dining area with an old long table with a stroke bench and 4 beautiful decorated chairs. Kitchen with induction hob, oven, dishwasher and a fridge with small freezer compartment. Bathroom with shower, bedroom with double bed and a rear entrance with washer and dryer. On the first floor are two bedrooms. One with double bed and one with two single beds. There is also a small toilet. The living room has flat screen TV. The house is equipped with a power-saving and energy efficient heat pump / air conditioner, to heat up the house, it has a fireplace (stove) and electric radiators as well. The heat pump is environmentally friendly and very energy efficient. This means that the house energy cost is very low in cold periods, and makes an ideal holiday home in the winter. The heat pump can be used as air conditioning in the summer time. Large wooden terrace with garden furniture, sun loungers and a barbecue.

The house is located in the heart of Mandø. Amid the Wadden Sea National Park. Cozy decor with older antique furniture, as well as its own ceramics and soap. The house has a fantastic light, as well as direct access to its own terrace in the apple garden where the view is magnificent, and close to the sea. In the house you can find tranquility and get nature up close, as well as enjoy the sight of all the beautiful birds that break on Mandø. At the house are bikes, which can be borrowed. There is a small grocery store on Mandø. Electricity and heat are not charged.

Charming cottage in lovely nature with sauna

Incredibly charming wooden house located on 5000m2 undisturbed surroundings next to scenic and protected area with heather heat. Occasionally a deer or two comes along. The house is located on the eastern part of the island in the area of Kromose. Quiet beach facing the Wadden Sea to the east, which is part of UNESCO's natural heritage, is only 500 m walking distance on the trail. Enjoy morning coffee and tranquillity on one of the lovely terraces or on the covered terrace. There is a great opportunity to see the northern lights during the winter months.

The house sleeps 6 (+1 baby bed) and sauna. The house is bright and friendly in design and has a great view to the west. The house includes a lovely, large open wooden terrace with panoramic views to the southeast and west. From the ground there is direct access to a bicycle and footpath that leads to Lakolk and the wide sandy beach.

What we most often hear about our summerhouse is that it has a lovely atmosphere, that you feel welcome and at home, and that it is cozy. We strive for the cottage to be personal but also functional, which is why the decor is a good blend of new and old. We bought the summerhouse in 2018, renovate it a bit along the way and as time is the time. What we want is that the summerhouse appears cozy and personal. Our wish is that the house can be the frame to create great memories.

Idyllic cabin in great nature

We enjoyed our stay at Lene's in Rømø very much. Everything was exactly as described – quiet, very private and perfectly equipped for families with small children (we were there with a 1-year-old baby and a 3-year-old child). The sauna was wonderfully relaxing after a long day on the beach or out and about in the beautiful surroundings. A very special highlight was the visit of deer in the garden - after 10 pm, very quiet and magical. Shopping facilities are easily accessible in about 15 minutes on foot or 4 minutes by car. Thank you, Lene - we'd love to come back!

We spent 3 beautiful days in Morten's apartment. The area is very quiet and the supermarket is right around the corner. The city center is also within walking distance. We very much liked the cozy and loving decor and the nice communication. We would definitely come back and can highly recommend the apartment!

Spontaneous excursion from HH to Fanö ~ we did not want any frills or wellness and the small accommodation offers this. It clearly describes what you can expect, and you get it :) A small "historic" hut for sleeping, washing and cooking some food - we didn't want anything more. The location is truly a visual Danish dream, in the morning from the couch over the dune to the horizon, which can be seen from sunrise to sunset or even moonrise to sunset. Sometimes also with a wide variety of game ;) Thanks

Michael is a very nice and responsive host and this sous-terrain flat is perfect for a couple of nights. Matress is comfy. And there even is a portafilter espresso machine to prepare above average coffee in this accommodation. Would go here again for a stay in Esbjerg.
