Relax & unwind in this newly built secluded cottage! It is located just 1/4 mile away from an airboat/kayak ramp (Adams Beach) and 3 miles away from Keaton Beach & the public boat ramp. Enjoy the sunset from the upper deck back porch or a short 1/4 mile walk to Adams beach. Bring your boat and enjoy making memories on the water! Remote cozy cabin-Two riverfront acres, 2 solo kayaks + 1 tandem for use with $300 loss and injury liability waiver Private walk 500 ft through woods path to the riverfront. The well water is sulfur and tanic, so please bring drinking water! Sleeping loft for two more guests upstairs. Springs galore in this section of the Suwannee. Diver's paradise, "Peacock Springs" network is a short drive. Springs map provided. Conditions vary with river. It is advised to check with your host a week prior.

Bring your fishing poles. Bring your boat! There is a private boat landing on the property 450 yards from the cabin.

A few of the springs are: Little River Springs (my favorite), Ichetucknee springs, Ginnie Springs, Royal spring, Charles Springs, Rum Island, Hart springs, Blue Springs, Poe springs and so many more. Our cabin is located directly on the Steinhatchee River with a balcony that looks over it for you to enjoy your morning coffee and relax. You can fish off the floating dock or just sit back and watch for wildlife. The land on the other side of the river is a wildlife management area and has plenty of wildlife for you to enjoy and watch. There are 4 kayaks for adult guest use at the house to help you take full advantage of the river. PFD's are supplied and recommended.

Sunset Cottage at Keaton is sure to be your favorite place to stay! The unobstructed views are always incredible, you’ll have a hard time leaving the porch or sitting under the house. In the evening after you had a fun day on the water, start up the grill, cook your catch from the day and have enjoy friends and family. Rather you are just relaxing all day to a full day on the gulf, you are going to make some of your favorite memories staying at the Cottage.

"High On The River"

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located along the upper Steinhatchee River. Located down a dead end road in the woods. Across the river is Conservation Land so you will hear lots of birds, crickets, owls, and frogs. If your lucky you may even spot deer, wild boar, bobcats, otter, gators or manatee. This is a natural "Old Florida " environment complete with critters and bugs. Bug spray is recommended when outdoors in the warmer months.
