Very happy with this stay! The home was plenty big, each room is huge. Beds are comfy, kitchen is stocked, scenery is amazing. The house is truly tucked away and private. It took about 35-40 min to get to broadway, but didn’t have any issues getting Ubers. As a group of 13, our favorite parts were the front porch & chairs for everyone, the size of the rooms so we could all have our suitcases open and still have space, and the overall area it’s in. If you’re a group of girls, I’d suggest bringing a few extra make up mirrors!

This place was perfect for us... a real retreat experience on a rural farm. We had the place all to ourselves, and sharing the property with farm animals was a nice experience. The only human interaction we had was the couple who made a brief visit to feed and water the animals in the morning and evening - both very friendly. The farm is very well kept - a few goats, sheep, chickens, cows, pot bellied pigs, and 2 barn cats. We had our service dog Max with us and he was in heaven. Will definitely be back.

House is secluded and surrounded with beautiful wooded scenery. Had everything we needed and enough space to comfortably fit everyone in our Nash Bash group. Would recommend and would stay here again!

We really enjoyed this unique house in the woods. Everyone had a bed to sleep in, and we were able to keep the kids occupied with the games, hot tub, tree swing, and grounds. The kitchen was stocked well, and we saved a lot of money being able to cook and grill instead of going to restaurants. Jonny and his team were very responsive to our questions which was great! We would recommend a stay here if you're looking for a quiet and unique place for a big group. We all enjoyed it!

This place was very peaceful. Hot tub was amazing! Host was very responsive and welcoming to any and all questions. I loved his sense of humor with my questions! If your goal is secluded and peaceful, this is definitely the spot! We will be back in the future!

We had a wonderful stay! The host was very communicative and made everything easy from start to finish. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. My friends and I especially loved the pool and hot tub — such a fun way to relax and enjoy our time together. The location was also perfect; it felt private and peaceful, which made the experience even better. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

We had a fabulous stay here and will definitely be back! Very peaceful, clean, and communication was answered right away. We enjoyed visiting Franklin and Nashville towns as this location was right in the middle and easily accessible to all necessities.

This is genuine and tranquil living in the Tennessee mountains, not more than 30 minutes from Nashville. The place was spotless and had excellent literature and culture throughout the house, and it is very close to nature. I highly recommend this place.

This cabin was perfect for us! We found it comfortable and very peaceful. We had two small bucks in velvet visit one morning-even licking the bottom of the grill that was on the front porch! My son-in-law spotted a skunk in the front yard, so seeing the area wildlife was a plus. The hosts were very quick to respond and were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. If you’re in the Nashville area, but want a quaint cozy stay, this is the ideal place.

This home was exactly what I hoped for. It was located in the woods, with a beautiful scenic backyard. We saw several beautiful exotic birds and at night the place was glowing in fireflies. Everything worked perfectly. We were able to enjoy the evenings and make smores outside. The gas grill worked great. The inside of the home was pristine and had everything we needed. It was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, Clorox wipes, toilet paper, clean towels, paper towels, dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner, and even some spices. My daughters loved the pool table. The whole house was in great condition. What was really neat was that even though you’re in the woods, there’s a Kroger, Target, and Starbucks, less than five minutes away. We stayed for a week and one of the days someone came to fumigate which we appreciated. Johnny was very responsive. I have no complaints. Thank you for allowing us to stay here. We had a blast! Hopefully we’ll be back soon!

Very cute cabin in the woods. Peaceful and cozy. Didn't get to use the fire pit but it looked nice. small fenced in area for dogs was perfect for letting them get some energy out.

The location is great, nestled in an established neighborhood of Nashville. The home is cozy and feels like you are staying at your grandma's place.

This cottage is very special !! Everything you need for a great stay is there plus extras !! We only had two night stay but we would have loved to stay longer. We love visiting Nashville and now found a new place to stay . We will definitly contact Cory first .

I wish there were more stars to give! We could not have had a better experience. Grace and Martin are amazing hosts and a joy to be around. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Loved getting to know all of the animals! Their dogs are so sweet even my son who is afraid of dogs started to relax around them. If you have a chance to create some art with Grace you should take it!! My 6 and 7 year old are showing everyone they meet their beautiful pictures. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed at moms cabin for our first ever trip to Nashville! It was beyond gorgeous and peaceful. It was completely kid friendly as we had our 3 year old daughter there. Teva and Bobby responded almost immediately with any questions! I will 100% recommend this cabin to anyone I know! We hope to come back again one day!

Honestly one of my favorite places to stay anywhere. Janette is wonderful and clearly cares about her guests having a good experiece. And the cabin is a perfect place to get away, private while still being close to plenty of fun things to do. Great layout and just an all around good atmosphere. I hope to be back again!

Patrick was very responsive in coordination and communication. I personally did not stay at the property as my family stayed there as part of a surprise for my wife’s birthday. They were all very impressed with house and its location. I hope to stay there myself in a future trip to Nashville!

We had a great stay here. The location is close to all things Nashville...but you really do feel away from it all up on the hill with trees all around. It was quiet and peaceful and relaxing. Scarlett was great. Great communication with recommendations and anything we needed. Thank you!

This was my second visit to Penuel Retreat Center but my first stay in the cabin. I had a wonderful experience again and it is a wonderful place to rest, relax, pray, and get away. I would highly recommend a visit.
