House holiday rentals in Dawson County

My family and I had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for us, I think our favorite room was the White Sunroom off the kitchen. I could be cooking and the grandbabies were on the floor playing. We did have to move the coffee table into the corner as it was glass but is made ample play area on the floor. We drove to Helen, Dahlonega, Amicolola Falls St Park, Ellijay. We did 3 Wineries, Apple orchard and the kids hiked the community every morning. I don't think we could have squeezed anything else in, in one week. It was an an amazing trip, coming back to the house in the evening was as comfortable as coming home. Thank you for having us. Maria Metzger

Wonderful multilevel home for an extended family trip. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the pool table and dart set was a nice addition for family fun. We enjoyed eating out in the screened in porch.

Loved the cabin. Great for a getaway. Had a great time and hopefully will be coming back soon!

It was a lovely quick getaway from Atlanta. So peaceful and quiet in the community of Big Canoe. We played 9 holes on the Cherokee golf course which was pristine and had some magnificent views. We ate at a local restaurant "Home" in Marble Hill that was recommended by Brian. The meal was outstanding. The home was nestled among trees and we felt like we were in a tree house. Would definitely recommend.

Jo Anna’s place in Big Canoe was lovely! We stayed with our family and little kids and it was a clean and spacious setup. We were very into the screened porch. The books and puzzles were a hit! Our hosts were extra hospitable, proactive and friendly. I especially appreciated the coffee and snacks ;). We love big canoe and would absolutely come back here given the chance!

The host Kenny was amazing. His cabin accommodated my family of 5 needs in space, location, bedrooms and baths. The scenery in this community and around this cabin was fantastic. Especially seeing deer everywhere. Big Canoe as a community is phenomenal and very family orientated. Lots to do . Can’t wait to plan another vacation here.

Beautiful large home for a wonderful getaway weekend with some friends! The home was very clean and Leland was very attentive and communicative. The neighborhood was very quiet, super close to downtown and our planned activities. The house was a bit of a maze with the two staircases but we quickly got the hang of the layout. Just a warning of the steep driveway! Overall wonderful stay and would definitely book the house again in the future.

We had a wonderful family Christmas at Baby Bear. Our family of 8 had plenty of room. My mom and husband, who have mobility issues loved the middle floor, my oldest daughter and her husband enjoyed the privacy of the downstairs room and their 15 year old twins had the top floor. The playroom was a delightful surprise and was well used and the fireplace was thoroughly enjoyed. The house was beautiful and the Christmas tree was such a sweet treat. We loved the kitchen and used it a lot, since the crowds in town were such that a party of 8 was nearly impossible to get seated. I can’t say enough about the house and location. It was beautiful, peaceful and just what we were looking for.

A great large home for hosting our immediate and extended family for our son’s wedding at a nearby wedding venue. The grounds were beautiful. We loved the screened in patio. 3 full kitchens. 3 large living areas. A perfect home base for all of our wedding activities. Would be a great getaway for any family gathering. I would recommend to family or a friend.

Host was always quick yo respond. Nice size tv’s. Had all the essentials you will need.

Beautiful scenery. Driveway is steep but was no problem navigating. House was nice and clean. The backyard view is amazing. Didn’t have much time because we were there for a wedding but there was foosball, chess, ping pong, darts and cornhole.

Incredibly helpful and friendly hosts, BEAUTIFUL house, perfect for our large group. We enjoyed lots of cooking (awesome grill!), game playing, and the spaces were perfect for our needs. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything we needed. We would stay here again. All communications were extremely prompt.

It was the perfect getaway cabin for 10 of us! The place was clean and felt very private. It had all of the amenities we needed as listed in the description. Catherine was super responsive and provided everything we needed to know very clearly, which made our stay even more comfortable. The parking space and the driveway were a bit small and narrow, but thankfully we carpooled so we were able to fit. The garage fit two of our cars, so that was also helpful. Highly recommend for big parties.

We booked our stay to be with our family coming into town for our sons wedding. The house was gorgeous and was so spacious for everyone. We were able to have our own space for each family that stayed and we also enjoyed being able to grill and hang out with everyone. The living room spaces were great and also the downstairs area allowed the kids to have a space to hang out as well. We will definitely book staying here again if we are back in the area. The host, Melissa, was so accommodating to us the entire time and made our stay a great experience. This home is beautiful and so are the views. There is also a marina and golf course that we wish we had more time to take advantage of.

This was second time staying, perfect for large group. We have stayed while attending softball games at North Georgia University. The square provides great options for dining as well. Highly Recommended

my husband is from Dahlonega ga born and raised. We visit with family a few times a year for holidays, family reunions or sadly deaths in his family. We are a family of 5 and its always been a struggle to find accommodations that will accommodate all of us 2 adults and 3 kids comfortably. This airbnb checked all of our boxes. Everything was super clean, easy access to the square and to our extended family. We will definitely be staying here again. It was like our home away from home.
