Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Del Mar

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Marianna's place. The studio was quite, clean, and had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable. Marianna made me feel very welcomed - there were Keurig pods, teas, and a little box of chocolates awaiting me. There was a large pepper tree right outside the window where I sat in the mornings and I enjoyed listening to the birds singing. The studio is just a 5 minute drive to a public beach and there's a large shopping center close by as well. Marianna was very responsive and attentive to all of my inquiries/needs. I will definitely stay there again.

Lina’s place was perfect. It was clean, nicely remodeled and stocked with cooking necessities. The king bed was very comfortable. The location is great - it is about a 5 minute drive to some good restaurants. Close to UCSD, beaches, La jolla… We were hoping to stay again in September when we return to get our son moved into housing for college, but it is already booked for that week! Thank you Lina!

Very nice and perfect for my sister and I to take our families on a vacation. Lots of space for the 4 and 6 year old girls to play and the adults to relax. Will definitely look to come back in the future!

Lynn’s place was perfect. Cute little cottage with an AMAZING unobstructed ocean view. Very relaxing and lots of comfortable deck space to be outside. Lynn was great. I messaged her and asked if they had binoculars. That night Amazon delivered binoculars which were a great addition! Kit and Tyler were very fun and friendly hosts. Made us feel like they were long time neighbors while being unobtrusive. We stay in Encinitas every year and we will definitely look to return to this home.

Great place, location and service. 4 min walk to serene beach. Farmers market on weekend across the street. So many eateries and coffee shops within a mile.

Our stay at this property surpassed our expectations in so many ways! The photos didn't reflect how beautiful, clean, spacious, and private our airbnb was. There was so much for our family of 7 to enjoy during our 3 day stay, together & individually. Our kids enjoyed swinging on the swings, going up on their loft to get the beautiful ocean views, lounging around in their pool, and walking around & exploring all the nature that surrounds this home. We were really impressed with the Spanish modern design of this home and the cohesiveness of the modern and traditional design elelments-it made for stunning photos! The host resoonded promptly to every one of our question; they reponsed within the hour to every one of our questions.

The only complaint I have is that I’m not still there. Jason’s home was absolutely perfect for our first trip with our new baby. Easy walk to the beach, Rose Hill Purveyors around the corner had amazing coffee, and the seaside market was a quick walk for all necessities and then some. I hope to be back!

Dan & Britt’s place was absolutely amazing the house was beautifully decorated, very clean and organized, and spacious with lots of natural sunlight coming from the windows. The backyard was the perfect hangout spot for our Family we enjoyed playing Corn hole, relaxing by the Fire pit in the evenings and also had a TV and built in grill. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed yet peaceful and quiet at night. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a comfortable, hassle free Airbnb experience.

Me and my partner were here for a concert, the location is very walkable and beautiful. The stay is also very comforting, and exactly what we needed. The hosts were extremely welcoming, and gave us recommendations on activities, and places to eat. I will definitely be coming again.

We had a great stay! The place was peaceful and perfect for two people. It was clean and comfortable. It’s in a great location, with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, and just a short walk to the beach. Super convenient to both Encinitas and La Jolla, which made exploring the area super easy. A really nice little spot.

I really enjoyed staying here. The hosts were always responsive and helpful. The place was clean and well furnished, quiet and functional. Beds were comfortable, however the pillows were too flat and soft. Recommended getting a variety that guests can choose from. The 2 bedrooms were far enough apart for privacy with the living room in between; I liked that. Lovely restaurants within 10 min walk. Strongly recommend Fish 101 for dinner and Pipes for breakfast. Grocery store was well stocked too. Nice walking trail within 10 min walk and beach access too. Overall a lovely stay, I wish we could have stayed longer to really enjoy the two cute patios. I would definately stay again!

We loved our stay! The place was accurately described and clean. There were nice touches throughout the place and Karin's binder of suggestions for food and activities was extremely helpful - she's done all of the work for you. The outside area is really nice and relaxing. We had bad luck with weather (June gloom!) so we were inside more than we wanted to be so it got a little tight especially with doing the dishes.

We loved how quiet and private the property was! Super close to a bunch of restaurants and things to do. We would definitely stay there again!🤍

If you're looking to spend your San Diego stay in a beautiful, quiet, walkable location this spot is for you! The hosts were super accommodating: local dinner recommendations, beach chairs, umbrellas etc. Every morning we woke up to the sound of parakeets and pacific ocean waves crashing onto the nearby beach shore. The beach and a few cafés are within walking distance while San Diego, La Jolla Village, and Torrey Pines are all within a 35 minute drive. Overall this stay is an incredible value for anyone looking to explore La Jolla and the greater San Diego area.

What a beautiful place!!!! Perfect space to relax and enjoy Encinitas. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Keurig coffee maker with everything needed: coffee grounds, creamer, sweetener! We were welcomed with breezy air and beautiful decor. Even the amenities in the shower were awesome and I loved the soft luxury of the towels. We will definitely return to enjoy the blessings of Cardiff Paradise!

This was the second time that my family stayed at this AirBnB, and we absolutely love the condo's proximity to the beach. The condo itself is clean with all the basic essentials that you need... boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, and cooking supplies. Both of the times that we've stayed here the condo has been very quiet; we've never heard noise from neighbors. The condo community has several pools, hot tubs, and a tennis court plus the spectacular clubhouse with panoramic ocean views. There are lots of little coffee shops and places to walk to near the condo community and it's very family friendly. The mattresses and pillows are dated, but aside from that this condo is truly a gem.

Perfect spot for first trip to San Diego and close to family! Would stay again in a heart beat!!!:):)

We had an amazing stay here!! Beautiful ocean views, the most wonderful beach nearby in walking distance, and the home was exactly as described. Everything was perfect and felt so luxurious. We cooked every day in the kitchen, and we had everything we needed! The kitchen was well stocked. We were grateful to have so many towels as we would go to the beach twice a day or more!! We didn’t get to use the pool because we were so busy, but what an added plus to have as an option! The bed was extremely comfortable, and there were plenty of spare linens/blankets if needed. The AC was so nice! Bathrooms were stocked and spotless! It was our first time staying somewhere with a washer/dryer in the unit, and now I can’t imagine ever staying somewhere without one!! Getting into the Airbnb and parking in the garage was so easy, and we appreciated Anne checking in on us. This is our favorite Airbnb that we have ever stayed at in California, and we hope to be back soon :) we were so impressed!!

This was a wonderful place to stay. My wife, my two children, and myself stayed here for three nights. Everything was a breeze, and we had everything that we needed. Mugs, glasses, plates, etc. were all provided. This is so conveniently located. You are within a three minute walk to Starbucks, a four minute walk to the beach, and a four minute walk to outstanding restaurants nearby. The area is safe, clean, and quiet. This place is ideal for a small family that is bringing only one car. If you bring more than one car, you have to park publicly on the side of the street, which is very inconvenient in my opinion. Geoff provided everything for us, including an extra twin size bed, sand toys for the beach, beach, chairs, and beach towels. We would love to stay with Jeff again.

I had such a great experience staying here! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and taken care of. The space had everything I needed and more — cozy bedding, thoughtful touches, and a peaceful atmosphere. The location was perfect, close to everything but still quiet enough to relax.

We loved this apartment- it was beautiful and had everything we needed! It was even bigger than the photos make it seem. Gorgeous decor and beautifully maintained/cleaned. Lots of extras/amenities like kitchen items, toiletries, beach stuff, and linens. The host’s communication was very hospitable and helpful! Location and view is incredible - right on the beach and walkable to so many cute cafes, grocery stores and bars. Comes with a parking spot too, and pool and hot tub access! Would definitely book again!
