Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Dellona

This Airbnb was beautiful, peaceful and centrally located to many things to see. It is, however, what I would call remote. It takes a few extra minutes to get to restaurants, grocery store, etc. But…we were there to see the area and enjoyed our drives to and from our destinations…..Baraboo for the Circus Museum, Madison for the (free) botanical garden (GORGEOUS) and Saturday Farmers Market/Wisconsin Capitol building, among other jaunts. The space was large, clean and just right for us. A basket snacks awaited us when we arrived, as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers for their huge yard. Enjoyed our stay very much!

Overall the experience at this cabin was great! The kids really enjoyed the pool as much as possible. A bit confusing getting in when we arrived as there are 3 lock box keypads. We saw the front door one last. The only other confusing thing was just making sure the laminated directions have only one WiFi address and password, and hopefully they will work next time. We weren't able to watch any tv at night when winding down with the kids, but it wasn't a huge deal, just would've been nice.

Carol’s place was a great location for a family event in Wonewoc. Thank you for the extras for us to enjoy breakfast in the morning. While in Union Center we enjoyed a round a golf at the Rockin’ 9 and drinks at Holy Cow.

For me this place has been great. The host went above and beyond. While it isn’t surrounded by activities, everything is within a mile so mostly walkable. But since it’s winter I mostly drive. Parking insights great. The home is charming and I’ll be staying longer because I enjoyed it so much.

Crystal and Lesa’s little house was charming. Communication was very good and prompt. We requested an earlier check in for numerous reasons, and since no one had been there the previous evening, they obliged our request. Upon arrival I noticed the smell of scented candles..to which I am very sensitive. I called Lesa to make sure that the scent was “not being piped” in somewhere, for lack of a better term. She assured me it was not, and by the evening the candle scent had dissipated. I have two suggestions for making the stay even better, and that would be to have cotton blend sheets on all the beds. My friend slept on a bed with cotton sheets, but I felt that my sheets were partially polyster. That is just my preference. Also, I didn’t know if there was AC on the second floor, so I opened the vents up there and hoped for a cool breeze. It didn’t disappoint. Thank you again. We will book it for next year already.

Whiskey woods cabin was perfect for our trip and comfortably fit our group of 8. Karla's instructions made checking in and out very simple and easy. She was able to answer any questions we had very quickly and we really appreciate the little extras she had at the cabin (we weren't expecting these). I highly recommend staying here, I know would the next time we're in the area. Thank you Karla!

Miki’s house is fabulous! It’s roomy and comfortable. She provides all of the things you’d forget. It was great having a washer and dryer! Plus coffee,tea,creamer…..and a few snacks! The backyard is great for bbq and fire pit. The neighborhood is clean and quiet. It’s close to all the fun things in town.

Wonderful host, easy instructions on how to enter. Definitely recommend!

Wow the place is much bigger than the photos show!!!! We saw maybe two or three bugs over the three nights we were there — which is to be expected when the place is next to the woods. The area is absolutely gorgeous. And do check out the Ski-Hi Farm that they own up the hill!

We’ve stayed several times and will continue to rent when available. Just like a second home. Highly recommended!

The Chateau (Robin's place) was just perfect for the three of us. It's peaceful rural location was beautiful and especially accessible for our hiking segments and connecting routes of the Ice Age Trail. It's also close enough to Baraboo, Sauk City, Merrimack, Prairie du Sac and even Madison...so you can explore small towns, villages and city life if you want or just soak in the beauty of the rolling hills in the driftless region. Our accomodations were just what we needed. Kitchen was well equipped and bathrooms were spotless. We were able to communicate with Robin easily. We also had an extra vehicle that she allowed us to park. We stayed there 3 times! Highly recommend it!

This place is amazing! The bar and restaurant downstairs is a great spot with awesome food, service and great vibes. The area is beautiful and the hosts were the nicest people ever!! I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone!! 12/10!!

Everything was great!! I loved it! I found it very satisfying for my needs. I wouldn’t hesitate to lease it again.

We were all so happy to be back at Steampunk Manor! We stayed in the apartment this go round and had a ton of space for the kids. The beds were comfortable with nice linens, kitchen was well stocked, and plenty of board games. Wish we’d had more time to stay!

Me and my friends felt like we were at home and also being able to make such great memories

Family has been camping nearby at the Holiday Shores Camp ground, which is roughly 2 miles from the Condo. My friend and I decided to bring our fur babies this year which meant we could not stay in the cabins at the campground so we sought out someplace close, convenient, and not too expensive. We HIT the jackpot staying here. Our GPS (Waze) took us right to the location. After entering the unit, we were blown away by how cute the condo was. A spacious bathroom, 2 very comfortable beds, and all the amenities one could imagine. They even supplied the coffee, creamer and sugar for the Keurig. The stove is a glass top which took a minute to get used to. The best part of the condo was that we were on the main floor and the back patio door opened up to birds singing in the morning and an orchestra of frogs and katydids belting out their calls in the evening. The area felt safe and our pups enjoyed their morning and evening walks along the golf course. We will definitely be back again!

getaway weekend at Jody and Jana's was just what we needed. a cozy couch and comfy bed, ample space for the two of us and that view of the lake was unbeatable! loved the little snacks they left us and the home was perfectly clean and comfortable.

Beautiful place! Right next to the Waterpark and it was not crowded. perfect little room for our family of 5!! 10/10 recommend!

We had so much fun at our stay!! The place is extremely clean and has a brand new kitchen & new appliances. It's nice having a full bathroom downstairs & upstairs. The upstairs bedroom is lofted so the kids enjoyed seeing if various items of theirs could fly :)) There was a Roku box on both tvs upstairs and downstairs so it was easy to watch shows/movies. Wifi was solid. Its an easy walk to the activity center. They have tennis courts, pickleball, basketball, racquetball, pool & hot tub along with changing facilities; all free to reserve/use. You could probably spend all week here and never leave! It was our first time here so we did all the touristy things and loved it: Bellos Circus, Rick Wilcox Magic Theater, WizardQuest, Ripleys, Mirror Maze, Big Chief Gokarts, Kalahari Waterpark, Frischs BigBoy etc! It was super convenient having a walmart, DD, kohls, McDs, Ross etc so close. The house was very quiet. Be sure to bring shampoo and any food condiments, otherwise everything is here.

Everything was great from start to finish. Todd was extremely responsive and all instructions were clear. The place was perfect and exactly what we wanted. I would definitely book again! Thank you.

Great host and a great space. Reminded me of the early days of Airbnb when people went out of their way to make you feel welcomed and have a good time. Highly recommend!
