The Gatelodge dates back to the 18th century and is situated on the edge of the main Pellipar estate. It is a smaller sister to the main Gatelodge. Enjoy the stunning views of the River Roe, fields and surrounding countryside. It has just recently been fully renovated and sympathetically restored using natural stone and wood products. We like to keep things simple, peaceful and close to nature here at An Garraí Mór, focusing entirely on providing honest comfort, open mountain views and the genuine quietness of the Sperrins. The mature hedges and trees outside are always full of local wild birds. If you're lucky you might spot the wild buzzards overhead or hear the pheasants that occasionally wander right up to the cabin doors. It’s a space designed to just make a cup of tea, open a book, and completely switch off.
