- A walk around Fowey to explore the history, literary connections and hidden gems of this lovely Cornish town. All on made-up surfaces, so only general sturdy footwear and clothing required. Some moderate uphill sections involved, at a leisurely pace! We will cover the maritime and railway history; pilgrims and churches, history, defence and growth of the settlement; former dwellings and settings inspiring writers with local connections. Most of the time is spent with views of the busy estuary. Offered as an evening tour, to take advantage of the beauty of the town and countryside as darkness falls. Work up an appetite for dinner with sunset, moonrise, stargazing and listening to owls - to name just a few of the dusk delights! Other things to note This walk is within the town on made-up surfaces and includes moderate hills (both up and down) but kept to a minimum. - I'm hosting a unique Wellbeing Tipi Temple at a very special location hidden in the cliffs of north Cornwall. Guests can visit the tipi for 1:1, pair or small (under 5) group sessions, which are focused around a meditative, relaxing sound bath and also integrate crystal healing, reiki, and intuitive insights (which use tarot, oracle and astrology to offer soul development and guidance), all shared in the wild. The tipi is located at a very special private venue where there are 45 acres of natural magic to explore after your session - wild waterfalls, opportunities to forage for natural crystals, views out to the Atlantic and mining ruins - as well as plenty of coffee and community to connect with on your visit. **ASTROLOGY** - I usually like to prepare guests' natal charts in advance to help me steer the session. This is optional! If you WOULD like me to do so, please message full names, date, time and place of birth to me at least 48hrs before your session. - Upon arrival we’ll run through the basics before demonstrating pottery throwing on the wheel to make a small Pot. It’s then over to you to ‘throw’ your own small pot (or two, time permitting). Choose one pot to decorate with small clay shapes/stamps using the tools provided. (Additional pots can be decorated and kiln fired at a cost of £5 per extra pot) Your creations will need to be left with us for drying and kiln firing. We can glaze in one solid colour before kiln firing or leave unglazed so that you can decorate at home with your own acrylic paints and varnish. Your pot/s can be collected 3-4 weeks from the date of your experience or we can post for a small additional cost. Allow up to 1hr 30mins in total for this experience. This session is a fun ‘taster’ pottery throwing for those who have never tried a potter’s wheel and always fancied ‘having a go’. This invigorating excursion will see us rock up in Rock on Porthilly Beach where we'll dine on oysters Alfresco in clear view of the beautiful oyster farm they come from & the rest of this stunning estuary with plenty of space to keep us safe! You'll be spoilt with copious amounts of pristine Porthilly Oysters, that you will learn to shuck yourself with expert tuition, knowledge of oyster culture and history and taste some amazing flavours of raw and cooked oysters. Situated opposite the famous Harbour of Padstow & surrounded by golden Cornish Beaches it's hard to find a more spectacular setting to enjoy these gorgeous oysters direct from local farmers, on the actual farm! There'll be plenty of shucking and oyster eating and depending on weather we'll fire up & BBQ a few. - You'll arrive at our farm where you will be greeted by Farmer Emma and her team, you will then walk through the barn where have animals wanting a cuddle. You will go up into the shop where we will have a brief health and safety chat, you will then receive your bag of feed for your alpaca and we will head into the field to meet all of our trekking boys. Once you have chosen your Alpaca and had a stroke of their super soft fleeces, we will walk around and up the field through our paddocks where we have other sheep and alpacas. With stunning views of Bodmin moor and our animals you will spend approx 1 hour walking around the fields where we will feed, and take photos. Once back down in the shop you will have your Cornish Cream tea, all made with Cornish products. You will be able to ask questions and mooch around our shop and see all our lovely quality made products. We hope to see you on the rolling hills of Bodmin Moor soon.
