Holiday rentals in Devonshire Parish

As any AirBnB Host knows (if not they will), there are times when you need help from your local Hosting Community. This was one of those times. Due to incomplete renovations, we needed immediate assistance to accomodate a confirmed guest. Fellow Superhost Faron blocked some dates at my request while I sorted out an issue with my debit card, then responded right away when I used another one. This was very trusting of her considering our island was bustling with several events island wide where centrally located accommodation will have been sought after. I had the opportunity to meet Faron briefly today during my quality control check after our guest Dr. Susan checked out. As expected, Faron's apartment was well laid out, spacious, clean and serene with an expanse of green lawn. Our guest, Dr. Susan was very comfortable and assured that she could relax at La Dolce after an intense round of weekend activities.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay at a lovely place equipped with all the amenities! The bed was so comfortable, and the furnishings were first class! The hosts were extremely quick to respond to every question and request we had, making our vacation enjoyable and stress free. Although we would’ve liked to have been able to walk to the beach or restaurants, we had no problems getting around via taxi and Hitch. Highly recommend this property! *****

We had a wonderful time for 7 nights at this little gem. We were so comfortable in the cozy pool house that we didn’t want to leave. As a couple who enjoy walking and exploring nature, we enjoyed venturing around the island on foot and scooter. This was a great location as a home base. Whether it was walking to the botanical gardens down the hill or to downtown Hamilton, we were less than a mile from great shops and restaurants. Walking back up the steep hill to the house was a bit more challenging but we felt good about our level of fitness when we got to the top! Tony and Pippa’s place had a very comfortable bed with soft linens and towels. Kitchen had everything we needed to have breakfast and make a picnic lunch. The pool was a highlight that we enjoyed daily. Would highly recommended

Brady and Simone were wonderful. They gave some local suggestions of places to visit and good restaurants. We loved being able to sit outside in the morning and watch the birds. We loved their puppy who would visit with us when he was outside. They were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely a cool place to stay.

I visited Bermuda for 3 months, on a business trip. When searching for accommodation, I was looking for a home away from home & that’s exactly what I got at Paul & Heather’s apartment. The apartment is spacious, clean & has everything you need, whether for a short- or long-term stay. The apartments’ location was perfect for my needs. A 5min walk to the bus stop, with a 10-15min bus ride into Hamilton City. The apartment is also a 10min walk from a lovely Café in the Botanical Gardens, called the Botanist Café. I would highly recommend Paul & Heather’s apartment for anyone looking for accommodation in Bermuda. When I return to Bermuda, I will most certainly be returning to this apartment. Thanks Paul & Heather, you were great hosts.

This was our second time renting Slate and Daffodils and it was even better this year because we knew the area better. It felt like home. We enjoyed the neighbors and had excellent weather all week! Can't wait to come back next March!

Patricia’s place is in a lovely and safe neighborhood with everything you need in a home base to explore the island. It is close to a bus stop for easy access to transit and the fully equipped kitchen with washer and dryer is very useful. While Pat was not able to be there in person during our stay she was still very kind and responsive to all of our questions. Her son was a very gracious host in her place and we learned that he built the house himself! Would stay again when in Bermuda.

John and Elaine have thought of every detail to make visitors feel welcome and comfortable in this incredible apartment. My son and I spent a fun extended Mother's Day weekend here and enjoyed using the kayak, having breakfast every morning on the spacious deck, and lingering in the evenings listening to the chorus of frogs and watching the lights wink on across the water. It's a quick walk into Hamilton, or even quicker to the bus stop (as others have mentioned in the comments here, there is a short cut through Trust land to the bus stop that makes it even shorter and more pleasant.) If we had realized how much we would take the bus, we would have bought day passes. The public bus system is amazing and the people of Bermuda are exceptionally kind. The snorkel gear John provided was a real bonus-- it was wonderful to see such healthy coral and abundant sea life. We felt so lucky to be able to stay at John and Elaine's, and grateful to be able to get to know Bermuda.
