Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Diani

Wow, what an amazing holiday! Tim was fantastic in helping us to decide whether his villa was right for us prior to booking. He also put us in touch with his local 'fixer' who helped us to book train tickets, trips and transport all at very reasonable and competitive prices. The villa is fabulous. We were spoilt for space as a family of 4 and didn't actually end up using the cottage as there was ample space in the main house. The house is furnished traditionally and we felt a million miles from home which is just what we wanted. The pool was the real highlight for us! The villa is staffed which was a new experience for us but we were quickly made to feel very comfortable. The chefs food is incredible. The housekeeper is lovely and she works tirelessly to keep everything spotless. The gardener/pool guy was a real star and we enjoyed having a laugh with him. We didn't see much of night security but we always felt extremely safe and appreciated him. 10/10 from start to finish

What a beautiful beautiful place. The pictures don’t do the house justice and Tiwi is a beach that is still as gorgeous as it was 30 years ago. No beach boys, no grief just lovely people everywhere. We snorkelled, swam in the pool, swam in the sea, played on the beach, rock pool hunted on the reef. Saw amazing starfish, moray eel, box fish and 3 types of sea hare as well as the “usual stuff”. We missed turtles hatching by 24 hours, but watched one come up to lay her eggs . The perfect place to spend a few days with the family chilling, talking and reconnecting. The verandah at the front is the best hub place. Then food - Anthony creates magic in the kitchen. Fresh fish, fruit and his tempura squid with coriander and soy sauce was delish. Fred the taxi driver is great and as a mixed family of 6 we could be as active and busy or not as we chose. The best way to end a trip to Kenya and as a previous resident it was perfect -Asante Tanya xx

I had the pleasure of staying at Cocos Paradise in Diani, and it truly lived up to its name! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the peaceful atmosphere and lush, tropical surroundings. It's the perfect getaway if you're looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Kenyan coast. The rooms are cozy, clean, and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that make you feel right at home. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved waking up to the sounds of birds and swaying palm trees. The garden is beautifully kept and offers plenty of space to relax and even kids to play. What really stood out to me was the hospitality , the host & staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They made our stay feel personal and welcoming. From arranging transport, giving local tips, or just checking in to see if we needed anything, the service was top-notch. I highly recommend Cocos Paradise as quiet, charming, & affordable spot in Diani,. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The best place to be if you’re planning a trip to Diani. Lisa is a very friendly host, understanding and went an extra mile for us to get comfortable and a list of things to do in the area. Cave Diani is a walking distance to the beach. And there are so many things to do in the area. The swimming pool is a plus especially with the weather, we enjoyed cooling down in the pool and great views of the area.

The last two weeks in Diani would not have been the same without my dear host Pat. He went out of his way to make my stay here an absolute dream. Helped me out with tours, gave me recommendations and was always there if and when I needed something. Thank you so much for everything!!! Diani would not have been the same for me without you!!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The property is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the beach. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were incredibly friendly I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway near the beach!"

Shamila’s home has beautiful character. My family loved the private swimming pool and the on site massages. We also utilized the chef who prepared many meals for us that were all flavorful and what we requested. The staff were so friendly and made us feel at home. We had a couple minor problems when we first arrived (a faucet and WiFi not working) and they immediately started working to resolve the problem. The staff recommended an excursion for us that turned out to be a highlight of our time there (glass bottom boat ride, snorkeling, and camel rides). We cannot say enough great things about the home and the hospitality we received from the staff. We hope to return some day to enjoy the facilities and the food again.

We had a fantastic stay at kiko’s beautiful Villa . The house is very nice clean, and well-maintained with tropical garden— perfect for a relaxing getaway. Kiko and Cathy were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, welcome meal were provided since we have arrive late: They went above and beyond by arranging a private chef (Eric)for us including shopping for all the groceries, and the meals were amazing! and also helped coordinate transportation to and from the airport. The location is ideal — just a 10-minute walk to the beach or you can take Tuktuk to the beach. The house also has its own private pool and a great garden outdoor where we could hang out and chill. We were a group of 7 families, and the space was more than enough for all of us. The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. L'appartement est beaucoup plus joli et plus grand que sur les photos. Très propre (nettoyé tous les 2 jours), changement des draps et des serviettes. Si vous avez besoin de faire une lessive, elle est également proposée. Balcon. Donne sur le jardin, où nous avons admiré des troupeaux de singes, de chats et de divers oiseaux. Maqbul est très actif et s'occupe de nous comme s'il s'agissait de sa propre famille. Les messieurs de la sécurité à la porte sont super serviables dans toutes les affaires nécessaires (Jabier et Jack), des gars super. Toujours à notre disposition. Depuis la porte, vous pouvez toujours prendre un tuk tuk pour 2 $ pour Carrefour et d'autres endroits. Il y a plusieurs bons restaurants à proximité de la maison. Sur la plage, les messieurs de la sécurité s'occupent également très bien de vous , vous pouvez laisser vos affaires sans réfléchir toute la journée. Personne n'y touchera. Ils veillent également à ce que les beach boys ne nous dérangent pas .

Avevo già soggiornato in questo residence, in un altro appartamento, ma sinceramente il migliore in assoluto è quello che offre ALEX. Letti comodi, lenzuola pulite, tende oscuranti che gentilmente ALEX a provveduto ad installarle poiché io non amo essere svegliata all’alba dalla luce solare. 🙏😉🙏 Con alcuni piccoli accorgimenti in più, questo appartamento sarà sicuramente il più bello e meglio organizzato di tutta la struttura. In questo edificio affittano in molti, ma sinceramente l’appartamento di ALEX per me resta il migliore in termini di pulizia, comunicazione e disponibilità. La vista è senz’altro impagabile . Per quanto riguarda la struttura esterna, l’edificio lascia molto a desiderare, ma una volta entrati nell’appartamento di ALEX, sicuramente si dimentica tutto il resto . Non solo ci ritornerei più volte, ma sicuramente ci ritornerò a breve per un soggiorno molto più lungo . Consiglio vivamente questo posto .🙏🩷🙏 Grazie, ALEX sei davvero una persona speciale . 🫶

We really enjoyed our time at this property. Everything was clean and well maintained. Biggy was a great help and made sure we were right at home. The pool was marvelous! Overall the apartment was great and we really enjoyed our time here. Would recommend this to anyone!

The place was as described and very easily accessible. Had a great stay.

Everything exactly as described. Big house with 3 air-conditioned bedrooms. The pool is just a few steps from the door and the beach a couple of minutes of walk. There's a fantastic chef on site and his services are included. Evelyn kept the house perfectly clean and even washed our clothes. Oh and there are 3 different types of local monkeys around keeping you entertained :)

We had a lovely stay at this BnB. Although we experienced some challenges with transport, as it was quite expensive getting to and from the location, Nick and Aline went out of their way to assist which we appreciated .The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-kept—everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Nick and Aline were especially attentive and made sure our needs were met. Would recommend, especially if you're looking for a peaceful and well-hosted experience.

This place gives a feeling you won't get anywhere else. me and my friends had an amazing time in the company of Rose and Halima. Thanks to amazing Scarlett who helped with literally everything.

Beautiful and large house, garden, and beach. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, in-house chef made delicious food, the beach was basically private and the owners communicated well with us. The location is fairly remote but even without our own transport, we were able to take a taxi to diani without a problem. The beach itself is fairly shallow so massive swims are not really an option but snorkeling works and it is still very beautiful. Would come here again any day. Thank you team!

We had a great stay at nature’s villa! The villa is a bit far off the main road down dirt roads but we had hired a car so it wasn’t a problem and when we used taxis and tuk tuks they had no problem finding the villa. As it’s further off the main road it does mean it’s much more peaceful when you’re there! House is great, pool and outdoor space is great and we especially loved having Max the very friendly German shepherd there, my kids wanted to take him home!!! James the house caretaker is very friendly and helpful and always smiling!

Shalom Cottages is an awesome place to be in. The owner is quite understanding and can accommodate any small changes in the timelines. The environment is clean. The swimming pool area is clean. It is a second home to people with a family. The staff, Gibran, is always ready to help. Amazing experience. Would highly recommend.

Die Anlage ist wirklich ordentlich und sauber und man fühlt sich sehr sicher, wenn man innerhalb der Anlage ist. Die Menschen Vorort sind sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Paul (Taxifahrer/Transferfahrer) war super lieb! Es hat alles einwandfrei funktioniert und wenn man Fragen hatte, hat Frank sehr schnell reagiert.

i stayed the whole of Easter at Bela's. she is such a great host. She handed us over to Angela, who received us on Fri the 18th morning..way before even 8am..at 7sh..having travelled overnight by bus. she recommended transport to facilitate moving around. The place is safe, there is a security guard at hnight and a caretaker during the day. I found guests paying for their own tokens completely reasonable because of the AC's which consume a lot of power. there pool is available always and it's well maintained and treated. On checking out on Monday morning, I left my earpods and Angela was kind to give me a call and return for them as luckily I wasn't far..for anyone who is not sure about the place, id recommend the place! cheers!

The place was really spacious, neat and close to other amenities like supermarket, hospitals and the beaches. However, the security is a bit lacking. The security man kept asking us for money. And the gate is literally falling apart which makes it a bit unsafe. The compound is very shabby and dirty so it needs a bit of maintenance
