If you are in need of a quiet escape, this setting is for you. This little place has been a summer cottage for years. It has recently been renovated with a new kitchen, living room and bathroom to make it extra cosy. The view from the front deck looks out to ‘Digby Gut’ which is the entrance to the Bay of Fundy. This is an ever changing view and a delight to experience. The 2 bedrooms each have very comfortable new queen mattresses to sink into after a long day of exploring The Annapolis Valley.

Once used for horse carriages, I converted this into a fully self-contained tiny house/guest suite. (It has a kitchenette; however it is not suitable for large scale, full course cooking.) Spectacular views of North mountain, nestled in the famed fertile Annapolis Valley. Peach tree growing region. Railway turned nature trail practically across the street, perfect for cycling into town.

It is the perfect base for your whale watching trip, exploring Annapolis, Kejimkujik, Bear River or Digby Neck, but make sure you leave time to relax on the deck. Watch the fishing boats come and go, you may even see whales. Comb our rocky, cobblestone shoreline for sea glass or that special rock. Swim our cold, clear water if you dare! Digby is a fishing port so there is always lots to see there too.

In the rural Acadian community of Clare, you will find our fully equipped, recently updated, 1 bedroom + loft A-Frame style chalet sitting on a quiet lake. The beautiful view can be enjoyed from wall to wall windows, wrap around deck, or while sitting in the hot tub. Loft: 1 king & 1 single bed - excellent for traveling with children. The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located 2 bedroom apartment. Walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants in one direction and grocery stores and NSLC in the other direction. My place includes a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds, and a full washer and dryer. A separate entrance and washer and dryer make this place perfect for a longer stay or even just a short getaway.
