Walking from the house you will find Killearnan Church and the Medieval Redcastle both rich in Scottish History. The picturesque village of Beauly is a 5 min drive. Here you will find bespoke shopping, restaurants along with the historic Priory.

Garden Cottage with hot tub, castle & sea views

This charming cottage is completely unique having the old Redcastle ruin as a back drop and views of the Beauly Firth directly in front. There is an idyllic stream going through the garden and we have recently planted a wild flower meadow at the end of the garden. It has been beautifully refurbished in 2023 and we feel incredibly proud of the results. The cottage is located in the sleepy hamlet of Milton of Redcastle and really is an idyllic and very comfortable place to come and unwind.

The wilderness of the highlands and yet only minutes from the amenities of a major town and nearby transport hubs. It is also a great starting point for the North 500.

Situated 2 miles from the town centre and on two bus routes, this makes an ideal choice for two people passing through or staying longer. There is a double bed and also a simple sofa bed (sleeping bag required). Fast WiFi and parking for two cars. The cabin is situated in the front garden of my house. Bedding and towels supplied. The farm has a herd of 12 Alpacas with 6 babies due June 2026. The cottage has 2 bedrooms (one superking, one king). The cottage is a perfect base for exploring Inverness, the Highlands and the NC500.
