My wife and I stayed at Eden B&B near Coonoor to celebrate her birthday. We had a pleasant experience right from the time of booking, thanks to Maria's responsiveness & proactiveness. As a host, she was both warm and professional. She shared all necessary details in advance, such as permit requirements & places to eat, experience the environment & celebrate my wife's birthday. While Maria coordinates the experience, it's her parents' thoughtful and heartfelt hospitality that made the experience unforgettable for us. It is not often that guests get to enjoy the hospitality of the hosts directly, sans any caretaker. Jose and Sindhu make you feel at home, like family. Along with a sumptuous breakfast, Sindhu also cooked a sweet to celebrate my wife's birthday! While the guest feels like family, they are thoroughly professional with their services. They provide best-in-class amenities and a neatly designed space, perfect for a retreat. Looking to visit more often!

This place is really great stay, gives homely feel and is walkable from the main ooty market(nit if extended walk). The place offered good home cooked meals as well and we loved it. Thanks to the care taker Mr. Gowda and team.

What a wonderful location, the property is very well decorated, with lot of attention to detail in picking the smallest of furnishings. The place is immaculate, clean, spacious and very warm and inviting. The caretakers on property are very professional, attentive and caring. Overall such a fantastic experience of this plce, a little further away from the action but in the midst of nature. Deepika was always attentive, prompt in responding and very accommodating. The day we landed, there was a strike in the Ooty area and we were stuck without access to restaurants/food. She arranged us a hearty lunch by working with her staff on property to make it happen, and saved the day for us. Highly recommend the place.

My husband and I were looking for a place to unwind, and Xanadu was absolutely perfect for it! The property offers breath taking vistas and has a cozy, homely feel that made it the ideal spot for relaxation. It's such a peaceful and serene location, a real escape from the hustle of everyday life. The staff were incredibly helpful and took care of all the necessary chores, including preparing and serving us delicious meals as part of their duties. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back soon. Definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

My recent stay in the Nilgiri Mountains was nothing short of magical. Nestled amidst rolling hills and mist-covered slopes, the location offered a picture-perfect landscape that felt straight out of a postcard. From the moment I arrived, the crisp mountain air, lush greenery, and the endless views of tea estates set the tone for a rejuvenating getaway. The highlight of the experience was definitely the tea estate. Walking through the neatly lined bushes, watching the workers skillfully pluck tea leaves, and learning about the tea-making process at a nearby factory added both relaxation and a touch of education to the trip. Sipping freshly brewed Nilgiri tea while overlooking the plantations was an unforgettable experience. The accommodation was cozy and well-blended with the natural surroundings. Mornings were serene with the sound of birds and the soft sun filtering through the mist, and evenings were calm, perfect for a quiet walk or a bonfire.

We had a truly memorable stay at Kartik’s beautiful home. It’s one of the most thoughtfully designed and aesthetically rich homes we’ve experienced with every corner reflecting care, creativity, and character. The sit-out and garden were especially enchanting, with breathtaking views all around. The surroundings invite you to explore at a gentle pace, with beautiful walks and a sense of calm that makes you breathe deeper and slower. A special mention to Kanaka Amma, a gifted cook whose meals were an absolute highlight of our stay. The home was impeccably maintained, and we felt well looked after throughout. Kartik was proactive and generous with his recommendations, and communication was seamless from start to finish. Highly recommend this retreat if you want to unwind, soak in pristine beauty, and experience warm, understated luxury.
