Very clean and well-equipped accommodation as defined in the listing. Shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. We had a lovely stay. Bruno was very responsive to our requests. We had already come for the first time a few years ago and everything had already gone very well. We will come back without hesitation.

Very nice renovation for this small quiet house 15 min walk to the beach. Ideal for couples or small families. We enjoyed the large enclosed garden, perfect for our dog. The accommodation is perfectly equipped and contact with Sébastien is very fluid and friendly. Perfect stay!

This was the third time in this lovely house. Close to the center of the village and within walking distance of the sea!! Absolutely recommended!

We stayed with four adults and two children for a week at Le Carrelet and we enjoyed it very much. The house is very nice, large and open. Nevertheless, everyone also has their privacy. The kids played a lot in the garden, were in the pool or out on the street. Everything was clean, in good condition and stylish. The location is beautiful, very close to the beach. However, it is about 20 minutes by foot or 5 minutes by car to the center of Fouras. For restaurants or the bakery, you have to take this path. Otherwise, it is a good starting point for excursions, such as La Rochelle. Even on days with bad weather, we felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time in the house. We will be happy to come back.

Amazing accommodation, I came to spend a weekend with family (7 people) and it was perfect! We didn't step on each other's toes because the accommodation is very large. The pool was super well maintained, the neighborhood was quiet and discreet. I recommend it 100%, I would come back. A big thank you to Anthony for this beautiful accommodation and his kindness. The villa is tastefully furnished, equipped and decorated. The layout of the rooms and their layout are ideal for our family of five with three teenagers, so that everyone has their own space. The environment is peaceful and conducive to walks, especially with the beach a stone's throw away, and nice restaurants also nearby. In short, we'll be happy to come back, in summer to enjoy more of the exteriors that are perfect too!

A real feast for the eyes, and pure rest. The apartment has an extraordinary view of the ocean, and the beach of Les Faucillons is a real paradise. The equipment is excellent, there is absolutely nothing missing, and the comfort is total. There's even parking space available. Royan's activities, are just a few minutes' walk away, and walking on the seafront, or inside the city is the most relaxing. Jacky was very present for all the necessary information, and the concierge team in charge very efficient and very professional for check-in and checkout. I highly recommend it, with family, friends, or alone.

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

The accommodation is very "cocoon" and spacious. There were two of us, but it must be just as good for 4. It is very well located for visiting the island while being in a quiet area. In terms of equipment, nothing is missing. If we go back to Oléron, we'll take the same place.

Excellent stay in the accommodation offered by Jean-François and Ghislaine. The location is ideal, in a quiet and charming area. It's both easy and enjoyable to get around on foot or by bike. The newly renovated accommodation is tastefully decorated, it is very functional (has cooking basics: various utensils, stovetop, oven, toaster, kettle etc.). There is a washing machine and a hanging rack, which is very convenient. There is also a very nice terrace on which we enjoyed having our lunches (and aperitifs). Special mention for Jean-Francois, our host, who was very friendly, and who took the time to advise us on the various activities/walks to do on the island. In short, I'd recommend this place unseen!
