Holiday rentals with beach access in Donegal

To say this was just a b&b stay is an understatement. These people made us feel like part of the family, they even went above and beyond with their hosting. I felt so safe and welcomed in their home meeting their family and dogs lol. We will definitely be back!! Love from The Loughran family xx

We have had a lovely few days at the Stumble Inn. The apartment is spacious, clean and well stocked with all the bits and bobs needed for a comfortable stay. Super comfy bed and lovely big walk in shower. Daisy’s place is situated really conveniently for all amenities in Dunfanaghy and to be able to explore the area with ease. Daisy was really helpful with advice and recommendations. We ate at Lizzie’s Diner just a few steps up the road which was lovely and also at the Bridge Bar restaurant in Ramelton which was excellent! Also loved the music in the local pubs in Dunfanaghy. Thanks so much for a lovely stay……would not hesitate to stay here again!

Carmel is a really charming and very caring host. Thank you again for the homemade cookies and bread, as well as the many thoughtful touches. The apartment is impeccably clean and you feel good in it. It is well located to explore this part of Donegal. We would highly recommend!

Anna's Fireside Library is a wonderfully peaceful place to stay. It's much more spacious than the photos show but is also extremely cosey. Having the fire ready for when we arrived, alongside the fresh scones, was a great touch. Inch Island itself is very peaceful, the local coffee place is delcious and Tank & Skinny's nearby is well worth a visit for food (the view from the back is incredible!).

We have stayed here many times and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves again. A lovely flat in a great location with super hosts.

I stayed 2 nights at Ann's cottage and enjoyed it very much. The cottage is very comfortable with lovely view out over the water and surrounding area. Easy to find using eircode and google maps..great base to explore the are. Ann was a very helpful and accommodating host. I would stay again

Another excellent stay at John’s place in Dunfanaghy. Super location with parking and is spotlessly clean. Will definitely be back!

Joanne and Pats are very welcoming hosts, and give good advice. The cottage, in addition to being superbly located in nature, is well-equipped and very functional. We had a great stay there.

There aren’t many accommodations I stay in twice while in Ireland but Emma’s was one of them. And it did not disappoint. Brought some family there I knew could appreciate the rugged nature and ability to go on a walking adventure right from the front door. It was absolutely grand!

Jill and Alistair could not have been better hosts. From initial booking inquiry through checkout, they were incredibly helpful, responsive, friendly, and went the extra mile without any prompt. Directions to the stay were crystal clear, the property is immaculate, beautiful, private, and well located for the exploration of Finad and all of Donegal. Rathmullan is a wonderful town, and I can not recommend enough a stay with Jill, and Alistair, and especially their wonderful dogs. Alistair was extra helpful in navigating the area, providing recommendations, asking for feedback, and saving a few strokes up at Portsalon Golf Club. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay well within reach of some of Ireland's most beautiful drives, landmarks, and scenery, this is the place to be. We have travelled quite a bit over the last few years, and this stay was the best we have experienced due to not only location, but the hospitality of Jill and Alistair. A review of 5 stars is too few.

This is a little gem of a place set in beautiful countryside. The house was spotless and incredibly spacious. Everything we needed was provided. We stayed as a family with a toddler and two teenagers and there was plenty to keep every member of the family occupied and entertained. Andy was very easy to communicate with and answered any queries promptly. We only got to stay for two days but wish we had longer. If you stay here a trip to Wild Ireland is a must. We also spent a little bit of time in the city of Derry which wasn’t too far from the property. Thank you for a lovely stay. Suzy and family.

We had a great time staying in Kittys! John and Karen were excellent hosts and couldn’t have been more helpful in giving us recommendations for the local area. They even left us some food items to start off our stay - a very thoughtful and kind gesture! We would definitely stay here again!

Host was great, really welcoming and accommodating. The place was just as described, really lovely, location is stunning and rural, hot tub was a real luxury and expertly maintained and cleaned. Would recommend

Rented both the upper and lower apartments. The upper has a really spacious kitchen and living areas. Much smaller in lower. Both have bedrooms on the street side so if youre a light sleeper bring earplugs if youre renting in season. Location could not be better for us. In the heart of all Dunfanaghy has to offer for pubs, shops, and restaurants. No trouble finding parking on the street. Comforting to have the surf shop staff available had a problem arisen (which it didnt). Both the bunk room above and twin room below would do well for children but would be definitely cramped for 2 full size men.

A beautiful, super clean apartment in a lovely area of Donegal. The apartment is equipped with everything you can possibly need to make it a home away from home. Mary is very friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely stay and are looking forward to coming back soon.

This place is a little piece of heaven, and the hosts are the kindest, friendliest people. I don’t know when just yet, but we will be back.

My stay at The Snug was wonderful. It was in a great location both to town and also to explore other parts of Co. Donegal. Claire and Brendan were easy to contact and very friendly. They had great recommendations for food in the area, and had a handbook full of recommendations for activities for the area. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!
