Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Dongdaemun District

I’ve stayed at several Airbnbs during my trip, but this one was by far the best! The location was incredibly convenient—right in a building connected to Seoul Station, with everything I needed at my fingertips: a convenience store, Olive Young, and coffee shops. The apartment itself was a perfect, cozy one-bedroom with amazing views—ideal for a solo traveler like me. The building also had a lounge and a gym, which I unfortunately didn’t have time to use, but they were great perks to have. The host was exceptionally helpful and responsive—quickly providing a larger towel when I asked and proactively helping me through a stressful luggage situation. They also gave me all the detailed information and transport options to get to the airport, which made my departure so much smoother. The building offered convenient luggage storage too, but need to be more careful with the code. I can’t recommend this place and the host enough—definitely a top choice for any solo traveler visiting Seoul.

Very convenient location, great accommodation for three nights.

Amazing place with amazing view of Seoul! Very close to Seoul Station, plus there are many shops and restaurants around. Yeon is also an amazing host who communicates greatly!

Fefa Station is the nearest station.From Fefa Station, there is no up and down the road, so it is easy to understand and easy to get to the house.(You can also walk to Dongdaemun Station and Jongno 5-ga Station, but it is a little further than Fefa Station, and there is a little up and down.) The bus stop called Dongdaemun General Market is about between Dongdaemun Station and Jongno 5-ga Station, so it is easy to understand how to get to and from the airport⇔ house. The house is clean and stylish as pictured.It is kept clean and pleasant. There is also a range, pots, dishes, silverware, pots, knives, etc., and dish soap. You can also use the washing machine, but please take your detergent with you. There is also a balcony where you can enjoy meals. The surrounding area is safe and very quiet. There is a Starbucks and CU (convenience store) between the area around Fefa Station to the house, making it convenient.There are also cafes, mochi shops, and bakeries. There is also a hair dryer in the bathroom.Body soap and shampoo are also available.Bring your own toothbrush. This was my fourth time staying at this place and once again, everything was perfect. The space is clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location is unbeatable — close to public transport and great restaurants. Check-in is always smooth, and Yunhee is always responsive and reliable. It really feels like a home away from home. Highly recommended and I’ll definitely be back again !

A great stay if you are a solo traveler - the room is clean and well stocked with all necessary amenities. The location is very convenient and quiet, it is near the bus stops and subway (3 different lines running through the station), and the airport night buses also stop nearby (which is great if your flight is in the early morning!). Will definitely be back for my next visit :)

First of all - view is just wow and worth the price alone. Host was very good and responsive as well, giving us warnings about possible rain and even helped us take out the trash when needed, as we stayed for a couple of weeks. What matters to me personally while traveling is the bed, and while in this case its just a matrass, I am happy to say that it was probably even more comfortable than my own bed. While the space where you sleep is not too big (you can reach the ceiling with your hand while laying, it was pretty funny), but everything is comfortable and made resting before every day very easy. All in all, I can gladly say this place enhanced our stay in Seoul and we were very happy about it. Host, bed, shower, kitchen, view - everything was perfect. Thank you Joy for providing this accomodation. Highly recommend!

I had a great stay. The host was always helpful, responded quickly to any questions, and was very accommodating. The apartment looks even better than in the photos. The combination of such a beautiful place and one of the best hosts makes me want to come back again.

On our trip to Seoul, we sought out a traditional Hanok guesthouse, as it’s a rare opportunity for our dog to travel from China to Korea. We feel incredibly fortunate to have stayed in such an exceptional guesthouse! The house and courtyard are designed with exquisite taste, seamlessly blending traditional and modern elements. The space is spotlessly clean, offering utmost comfort, and everything feels just right! The host and property manager are warm, welcoming, and attentive, quickly addressing any concerns. From before our arrival to throughout our stay, they went out of their way to provide thoughtful and caring service. Thank you for making our Seoul trip truly memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse to everyone!

Beautiful space! While it is not as affordable as the hotels we'd previously been staying in, the saying you get what you pay for is true here. You get space, which for a family feeling like they're living on top of one another is great. You have fresh air, peace and quiet and a bath house that was a joy to use. Great location with lots of food options around. We really loved it!

The location is in the city center, with restaurants nearby and a subway station right next to it, but it feels like I'm traveling to the outskirts of Seoul.

This place is definitely a recommendation for any family. Having 3 bathrooms was great, especially with teens. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They were responsive and helpful. Being above a bakery was great. Sinchon station exit 7 is just a 5 minute walk. There are several convenient stores around and an E-Mart for groceries with a Daiso next to it. Great location.

JD was a very esponsive host and his place was cozy and clean with many nice small touches. The location was also great and near to the train station and main Hongdae area.

The house is exceptionally clean and conveniently located just a short walk from the subway station, making it easy to get around the city. The owner is also very responsive and helpful, promptly addressing any questions or concerns, which made the stay even more comfortable and enjoyable

The host provide a lot of information and clear instruction for check in procedure. The house is beautiful and clean. Extra towels were provide. My friends enjoyed watching Netflix at the house. We do have a memorial holiday in this place. Last but not least, I appreciate a lot because the host allow us to delay the check out time for an hour. We can have flexible time to pack our stuff and follow the instructions for final clean up.

The host paid attention to the details before check-in, so I had fun:) It was nice to have enough bedrooms. :) This is a place I want to visit again next time!

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It’s very close to Namsan Tower — we took the bus up and walked down, which was a great experience. You can also easily walk to Myeongdong, which is super convenient, and Seoul Station is just nearby. The apartment itself is great, and the host was kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Highly recommend this place! If I come back to Seoul, I’ll definitely try to stay here again if it’s available.

Great space. Just enough for one person. I think two people would feel cramped. The space is smaller than in the pictures. I like how she decorated the place. It added more warmth to the room. I enjoyed chilling with the warm lighting and under the covers at night. It felt cosy and like home. Host is kind and allowed an early check in, with specific instructions on how to get to her place. She also recommended me places to visit nearby and responded quickly whenever I asked her questions. I’m a solo female traveler so I felt safe because there’s two passcodes to enter the building, unlock the door and a small lift. Cons: There is a steep slope you have to climb before reaching the Airbnb. So pushing luggage up & down is a hassle. The toilet is also really small. It takes about an hour if you want to go to myeongdong/gangnam/dongdaemun. But the airbnb is closer to the airport and highly accessible via bus/train. Overall, great deal for the price! You get what you pay for!

The accommodation is near Seochon and Gyeongbokgung Station is within a 10-minute walk, so the location was really good. And they responded kindly to my inquiries, and there were 12 people staying, and I was able to stay without any inconvenience. If I have to visit Seoul again next time, I want to stay here ~
