Here are nice hiking spots, a 2 minute walk down to the marina. It is located in the heart of Dønna and has several sights not too far away. You can also drive over to Herøy and experience great nature and several sights. The cabin is a nice place to camp in with berry forest outside and fishing opportunities and pleasant trip in the shore.

Rorbua is excellent for tourists as there are countless great opportunities for ski touring nearby, both in the Leirfjord and the Sandnessjøen area. There is also good chances of pulling up fish for dinner from the nearest swamp or boat. It is a short car ride if you want to experience Helgeland's beautiful archipelago via several free ferries.
