Everything was perfect. Spacious, clean and nice accommodation, with a kitchen that has everything you need to cook. As for the location, the bus stop is 100 meters away and it is also possible to walk to the center of Donostia (45 minutes to the Town Hall). As for the garage, if you have a car larger than a Ssangyong Rodius, it will not fit, but in that case you can use a blue zone parking space that is right in front of the building. Ana sent us the location of the apartment with clear instructions that greatly facilitated our arrival. Ana, thank you for everything.

What a wonderful stay in this little cocoon, a big thank you to Katia and Olivier who were available and responsive when needed and very discreet throughout our stay. The pluses that make the difference: air conditioning, swimming pool, barbecue, quality of the bedding, outdoor terrace, darts and finally the 2 magnificent bikes that allow you to reach the beach of Ondres or enjoy the surrounding areas. The accommodation is frankly great and especially close to everything, it's a good starting point to visit the Basque and Landes coast.

Amazing and clean two bedroom apartment with self checkin. Fermin was a great host and supportive with quick replies. He guided us and provided several recommendations. The bus stop close to the apartment. There is a public parking next to the apartment on the street. I had no issue to find a parking space. Thank you Fermin.

Olga and Jorge’s home was an absolute delight. Perfectly located in the heart of Donostia, it’s beautifully decorated with thoughtful attention to detail throughout. The apartment is exceptionally well-equipped and generously stocked with amenities—Olga and Jorge have truly thought of everything to make their guests feel at home. Their warmth and hospitality were unmatched, and they provided us with many helpful tips and local insights. The use of their parking space was an added bonus and made exploring the area even easier. San Sebastián itself is incredible, and this home made our stay all the more memorable. We didn’t want to leave and hope to return someday. With San Martin Square just outside the door—featuring a supermarket, cafés, and great shopping—and the beach only steps away, the location couldn’t be better. One of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had.

I know with today’s tech, you can communicate with host and never meet in person. Ana met us at the door, walked us through the apartment, showed us where everything was. She told us all her favorite restaurants, shopping haunts. Those personal touches make a difference. We loved the place. Of note there is only one bathroom which is clearly stated.

We had a perfect stay here! The apartment has plenty of space and has everything you need. It is in the ideal location for exploring and the building itself is very safe. Rosa and Joel are the perfect hosts! Joel gave us lots of local recommendations when we arrived, which was really helpful. Rosa replies very quickly and also very kindly helped us with any requests. Thank you very much for the birthday treat left for my boyfriend! And thank you for a lovely stay. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

Fantastic location and very spacious apartment. Had everything we needed for our stay in Donostia and the host was so easy to deal with and very friendly. We felt at home and loved the area it was located in. Easy walk to Gros, the old town, the beach and main bus station. Right in the shopping district with plenty of places to shop and eat. Easy to catch the local buses and also the regional buses to the towns of Getaria and Hondarribia. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Mentxu's place. Mentxu was really helpful and his instructions for finding and checking in were very clear. Apartment was really clean when we arrived. Had everything we needed (washing machine and tumble dryer came in more handy than we expected). Despite being only a short walk from the busy town and beach the apartment is in a very quiet area. Our only negative is that the main door to the block of flats has an automatic close mechanism which causes the door to slam loudly whenever any of the residents of other flats come or go. Don't know if this is just the way the closer works or if it is possible to get it adjusted to be quieter. Overall we had a great stay and would stay at Mentxu's again if we return to San Sebastian.

Very clean apartment and very well located in the city center, close to public transport!

Very pleasant 6-night stay. The place is in a house belonging to the owners, but we still fully enjoyed our privacy, without hearing the slightest noise. The place is clean and in all respects matches the description. The rental is ideally located, a 15-minute walk from the beach. It is very easy to park, with spaces available just in front of the apartment. Our host was very responsive and caring. We would recommend it without hesitation and will be happy to come back!

We can only agree with the other very positive reviews for Mikel and his apartment. The Gros neighborhood is a wonderful base with many restaurants and shops. The sights are within walking distance. Zurriola beach is at your doorstep and always offers plenty to look with the many surfers, even from the balcony of the apartment. Mikel sekbst is very friendly and accommodating, a great host. Absolutely top recommendation.

Great place and we had a really great stay overall! Location is prime with great access to all that San Sebastián has to offer. Host was super helpful and responsive throughout our stay.

Helen kept us well informed of where to park and arrival instructions. We arrived later than expected due to car issues and she arranged for a lovely helpful friend to meet us. The apartment was immaculately clean and well equipped, with everything that you could need plus lots of extra touches. There was milk, Beer, water and soft drink in the fridge which was appreciated and plenty of tea/ coffee and condiments if needed. The apartment was spacious and everywhere smelt clean and inviting. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at Helens place

Ignacio, greeted us on arrival and went through everything we needed to access property. He also gave us a map and marked on it places that we were keen to explore. Ignacio also sent texts with buses, Taxi info and a lot of restaurants, Pinto places and bars. Would i recommend staying here, absolutely. just be mindful you will need a bus to get to the beach, but there are 2 stops 50/100 metres away and they run constantly. Ignacio was extremely friendly and helpful. Russell

The contact with Denise was very pleasant and friendly. The information was always clear and understandable. The apartment was clean, very well maintained and cozy. The old town was easily accessible on foot, but there was also a bus right in front of the house. There were also plenty of parking spaces (P & R, but also the "blue" parking spaces could be used for free from 8 pm to 9 am. On weekends and public holidays, even all day for free.
