The home was beautiful and well-maintained. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us and the owner was very proactive, giving us clear check-in and check-out instructions, directions, and recommendations

The photos show the unit exact as it is. Very clean, comfortable, and well designed. We utilized the kitchen for breakfast, lunch and a couple of dinners. Mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. Bathrooms were spotless. Cecille was always responsive when questions arose. She had good recommendations for dinners. The surrounding area and neighborhood was lovely with many conveniences such as gas stations and the Hen House Market for groceries and good prepared foods available. Would definitely stay there again if back in the area.

Close to the university and also close to city centre (both walkable) while also being very calm and quiet 👌

Fernando's place was perfect for our family. The place was spacious and clean. Fernando was responsive and accommodating!

No complaints about my stay here. Very nice, quiet neighborhood. No problems with neighbors whatsoever. Home itself was nice for what I needed. Only thing I will say is that the bedrooms and bathroom were different than pictured but the kitchen, dining, and living areas matched. Not worse, actually was more counter space in the bathroom I got so no complaints.

Linda’s place is in a great location and was pristine! It is well worth its value and was a comfortable and cozy stay during my business trip. Everything on the listing is accurate and when I experienced a technical issue with the WiFi, Linda responded promptly and checked in to ensure it had been corrected.

The place was clean, tidy and very comfortable. It met our needs while in the area for my son the race in the Unbound Gravel race.

We love it here so much. This is our second trip to Black Barn and we always have a blast. The firepits are awesome, the kitchen is so big and well equipped, the furniture is all very comfortable. The place is always very clean. It's so cool to go on nature walks. I mean this place is so big and private and amenable, you really can do whatever you like here. We tend to do big bonfires with dancing and music, board game nights at the big dining room table, naps in all areas, and big collaborative breakfasts. But, I have to shout out Heidi for being the absolute best host we've ever had. She is delightful to speak with. She clearly has a passion for what she does and cares about the customer experience. She is very responsive and polite. We just absolutely adore her. We will most certainly be back. Beautiful, spacious home in a terrific neighborhood was the perfect setting for large family gathering for 80th birthday party! Lori has extremely responsive and very helpful with recommendations when needed. Will definitely be back for future family functions…

you can tell more about people when something goes a little wrong than when everything is perfect. There was a small mechanical issue with the pool and they sent the nicest person out to fix it and went above and beyond to make sure all our kiddos could continue to use the pool. even though it would have been much cheaper for them to close the pool. This speaks volumes about their commitment to their guests. we would totally stay there again if we ever were in the KC area.

This house was perfect for our race weekend! It’s super close to the track—we could just walk there, which made things really easy. We had 8 people in our group and everyone absolutely loved the place. The basketball court, pickleball court, and putting green were a blast—we spent a lot of time out there just having fun. Inside, the house was super clean and well taken care of. The bedrooms and bathrooms were in great shape and really comfortable. The kitchen was awesome—fully stocked and even labeled, which made cooking simple. Little extras like foil, spices, and extra trash bags were super helpful and much appreciated. Honestly, we had a great time and I can’t recommend this place enough. Thanks so much for such a great stay!
