Enjoy this spacious and unique space while watching whales, sea lions, and eagles in their natural habitat. This stunning property is located in the middle of the best trailheads and whale watching in Juneau. This property has two futons, one downstairs in the living room, and one upstairs in the loft. Things to note: The property is only accessible by a flight of outdoor stairs. The fireplace is unfortunately not in use. There is beach access from nearby trails, but not from the property.

New place to stay

Humpback Hideaway (hot tub and sauna included!)

I can't say enough about this place and the hosts. Pictures don't do it justice. Beautiful from top to bottom. Sit on the deck and watch Humpack whales and all sorts of sea life go by. Excellent communication, and quite possibly the best hosts we've ever had. Thank you for opening up your beautiful home to visitors.

I'd give Don and his home 10 stars if I could. Don was a fantastic host and his house is absolutely beautiful. The pictures on his listing really do not do it justice. The home is spacious, well appointed and has everything you need ti make you feel at home. We especially appreciated the gourmet kitchen stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook a meal, the supply Keruig coffee pods he provided. His home is in a great location outside of downtown Juneau, on a beautiful lake. It's close to everything you want to see. but far enough away from town that you feel like your secluded in the woods. We had a great time and we'll definitely stay here again when our travels bring us back to Juneau.

For our 2 week family trip to Alaska we stayed in 8 AirBnbs and, by far, Daniel's house was the best. Every small detail has been considered, down to luggage racks, laundry baskets and boxes of tissues in every bedroom. The dining room was spacious, the living room comfortable and the entire place was very clean. We noted there were no baking sheets and he dropped some off in a few hours so we could make dinner. The house is very convenient to Mendelhall Glacier and Statter Harbor, as well as downtown, but in a quiet neighborhood away from the crazy downtown area. The Goldbelt Tram passes were an added bonus and we enjoyed being on one of the first trams of the morning when it was still quiet.
