Set on private farmland on an elevated site, The oat box provides a luxurious haven of peace and tranquility to escape from the world for a little while. Our 1968 Bedford TK Horse Lorry has been lovingly converted into guest accommodation for 2 adults using repurposed materials to create a cosy, welcoming hideaway. It is the perfect base to explore the panoramic North Coast of Ireland with its many tourist attractions. There are a great selection of restaurants and quality coffee shops nearby.

The Surf Shack, Causeway Coast, Ballycastle.

The Surfer’s Shack is a unique tiny space created from an upcycled shipping container. The decor is inspired by the local Causeway coastline. If you’re looking for a quiet secluded getaway, this is the place for you, as the shack is surrounded by rolling county Antrim farmlands, all the while being within minutes of the top spots such as the giants causeway, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, the dark hedges and the Bushmills distillery. A little further (15 minutes drive) will take you to Portrush.

It is the perfect location for touring the North Coast, Londonderry/ Derry and Donegal. Benone beach is only 16 miles away and there are lots of local country/ forest parks to explore. The quaint town of Limavady is 6 miles away, and the lodge is easily accessible to Drenagh estate and the Roe Park hotel, perfect for guests attending weddings.

This home really need to be seen to be appreciated in its full entirety. Enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace and watch the sun set over the Whiterocks, take romantic walks along the beach or head into Portrush (1 mile away) for a night to remember. Once you stay one or two nights you will want to come back again.
