Apartment holiday rentals in Downtown Memphis

Don't let this being a "new" listing make you question anything, my best friend and I have been coming here for years and just like the first time, it is an absolute gem. The space: it is 2 bedrooms, both good in size and comfort. The kitchen has everything you'd need for quick meals, but let's be honest, you're going to Memphis so may as well just use it for some late night pizzas! The living room is a good size and it is perfect for hanging out. The area: it is most definitely walkable to downtown and Beale, or to the baseball stadium. There are a couple fantastic restaurants within a block, and you MUST go get chicken at Gus's. The secured parking and reserved spot give you a sense of peace knowing your car is safe. The owners: absolutely fantastic. The current owners were co-hosts when we started coming here, and they did not miss a beat. Always responsive, great recommendations, and just a pleasure to do business with. All in all, if this place available, book it. 10/10

A very spacious well laud out flat with plenty clothes wardrobe space and amenities. Superbly central location. Highly recommended for Beale Street and Peabody etc etc

This is a perfect stay for those traveling alone for business or just a getaway. Very quiet and peaceful area. The host is always responsive and understanding. You probably won’t want to rent any other unit after you stay here.

When i think back about the loft... i keep coming out with 2 words... Extremely Charming... Followed by Sooo Comfortable, and then there's THE location.. If you are there to get some Downtown Memphis.. It is ridiculous how convenient you are to it all. It makes no sense. Do yourself a favor... . if its available.. grab it.. because it won't be long. Great stay for me & my 4 teenage kids! Walking distance to most places we wanted to visit. Easy access, check in & great space for our family!

I enjoy a good home away from home and this was just the peace I needed. The host was very accommodating and answered any questions I had. The home has the perfect finishes to give it a warm and inviting vibe while not being too cluttered. Quality and comfortable furniture as well; probably got the best nap of 2025 on the couch which tells a lot because I hate naps. Highly recommend and will be staying again, as well as the hosts’ other listings.

From the moment we arrived at the Lion’s Rest, we felt right at home. The atmosphere and lighting throughout the entire house created a warm and cozy vibe that made it easy to settle in. One of the highlights was the collection of personal, handwritten notes about Memphis — especially the Midtown neighborhood. These thoughtful touches were not only charming but also incredibly helpful for getting to know the area. Our host, Mark, even invited us to visit the main house, which is absolutely stunning. Mark is a genuinely friendly and proactive host, full of great tips for exploring the city and making the most of your stay. At night, the flat was peaceful and quiet, and we felt completely safe in the lovely neighborhood. All in all, we had a fantastic experience and can wholeheartedly recommend staying at Lion’s Rest!

Of all my Airbnb adventures, I have stayed at Tim’s places the most. There are reasons for that: communication, convenience and quality. Tim and his team treats you like they know you and he will likely get my business again.

Great suite with all the amenities and a responsive host

We had a nice stay. Everything was clean. We had a small issue getting in the gate but we received immediate instruction that worked. I loved the security of the gate. The only thing is we could hear the upstair’s neighbors walking and moving around. We loved being in this area because it was walkable to Beale St. restaurants, Lorraine Motel, and other rooftop restaurants, and the river. Drew and Emily were very responsive and great hosts!

This spot was just as described! In a fantastic location, close to Overton Park, Midtown, and a quick drive from most of the main Memphis spots!

When I first stumbled upon this place on AirBnB, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it was shown. John is a gracious host. He provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The place is just very nice. Kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs. The bed is comfortable, bathroom and terrace are excellent. Location is pretty good in relation to Memphis. John H had excellent restaurant recommendations and was of great help. He went way beyond to make our weekend comfortable and memorable. We'll def be returning and look forward to booking again with a great host.

Wonderful stay in a charming, beautifully decorate space! Incredible location, easy to walk to great restaurants, shops and live theater!

I appreciated Annie‘s space a lot. I felt home in the space pretty quickly, and I was glad about the washer and dryer. The neighbor hood around Overton Square is lively and can be reached in walking distance. I’d book it again. Annie is great, very reponsive and helpful.
