“Mary & Wes’s place was fantastic for our one night stay with our dog in Memphis. It’s quite large (a lot of space in the house and outdoor), very clean, and stylish. Communication was clear and quick - the whole process was easy and effortless! We were driving cross country, for a work relocation, in the middle of COVID-19, and Mary & Wes had taken every precaution to make us feel welcomed and safe! They provided masks and hand sanitizer, and ensured us all precautions they had taken to sanitize the space. We are grateful to have had such an awesome place to stay with our pup on our long road trip!”
Quiet and cozy arts and crafts bungalow in a very safe, historic neighborhood walking distance to theaters and restaurants in Overton Square and Starbucks is a block away. Easy Uber/Lyft to Beale Street, Sun Studio, Stax Museum, Redbirds Stadium, Cooper/Young arts/entertainment area and downtown. There is a shy, somewhat antisocial, but very sweet greyhound who lives in the house with me and my partner, John. We welcome all humans here.
“Elizabeth (and John) are super kind, easy going folks, who are very welcoming. I felt I could arrive, relax and explore without any worry and with a friendly vibe as well. Also, the room and accommodations are exactly as described, with a cozy feel and very cleanly feel as well (and a great location).”
This darling 1 bedroom house is the entire side of a duplex in the heart of midtown. It is within walking distance of the Memphis Zoo, historic Overton Park with 9 hole golf course, hiking trails, playgrounds, the Brooks Museum of Art, and more. Also, walking in the opposite direction of the park is Overton Square, which will not leave you short of dining options, and keep you entertained any night of the week with live music at multiple venues. Beale street is only an $8-$9 Uber ride away!
“Super awesome place! I used to live in Memphis and can confirm this is a true local vibed home. Comfy, quiet and conveniently located within walking distance of local food/drink. It is a duplex, but the neighbor was really quiet (couldn’t even tell they were home). Nice patio out back as well as a cozy porch out front. Excellent communication with the host, easy self check in with a keypad, really clean place with everything ya need! Highly recommend, can’t wait to visit again! Thanks Daniel and Katie!”
