The chalet consists of a spacious (24 m2) bright living room/kitchen, bedroom with double bed (1.40 m x 1.90 m), bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, small entrance. Large sheltered garden, with spacious terrace at the chalet. Elevated plateau in the forest, overlooking nature. There are many cycling, hiking and mountain biking routes in the area.

From your chalet at park the "Keizerskroon" you can immediately go into nature for hiking, biking and mountain biking. There are no amenities at the park, but there are plenty of options nearby. Like; Indulge in a cozy terrace in e.g. Borger, Rolde and Grolloo(bleus city), various open-air museums. Westerbork memory center, or WILDLANDS in Emmen. Close to the Tree Crown Trail, the beautiful swimming lake the Nije Hemelriek and climbing park "Joy Time" . A little more away: Drouwenerzand amusement park.

The booking is excl. a park fee of € 3,50 p.p.p.n., to be paid at the reception of the camp site upon arrival.

You are warmly welcome in cabin de Merel on our cozy small Estate Camping near National Park Dwingelderveld and Weerribben-Wieden. The campsite meadow, with 8-10 pitches, is located at the rear of the monumental mansion farm. In the former haystack there is a unique canning museum and country restaurant in the summer months. Bedding is provided upon arrival, and towels and kitchen towels are provided. We will bring clean towels and kitchen towels in consultation.

The Chalet has a beautiful location where space and tranquility come together. It is a perfect base for walks in one of the park forests of Oldeberkoop or a nice bike ride to, for example, Appelscha. In the evening, with a bit of luck, you can see the deer coming out at dusk!
