Family-friendly holiday rentals in Drenthe

The stay at Wietske was above expectations: an extremely cozy house with plenty of space. The garden was a relief: lots of greenery, trees and shade: everything we needed. A hot tub is not our thing, but for those who like it: it is there. All in all: highly recommended.

Fantastic stay and perfect for a group of friends! We found it difficult to find fun activities in the area, but you can prepare for this. And for a short weekend this was all right. Recommended!?

We had a great weekend with fantastic weather! The house is perfect for a short break and offers pure relaxation with sauna and hot tub. The host was available at all times after we received contact information from the intermediary. The only small drawback: AirBnb offers amenities, which may not be available on site. Intermediaries and owners should coordinate again here.

We stayed at Rob's house for a weekend with girlfriends. We had a fantastic time. It has it all and the terrain is huge. We would come back back. Communication with Rob was also incredibly nice and reliable. A thousand thanks for everything! 😊

What a beautiful place, I really enjoyed the stay and the jacuzzi, walked wonderfully with the dogs in the beautiful surroundings and Gerard and his wife Rieke are incredibly friendly!

We really enjoyed a wonderful stay. Perfect for groups with (young) children. Beautiful wooded area where you can walk and visit Hunebedden. Even with rain, there is plenty to do in the house due to the multitude of games, the pool and table tennis table. We'd love to come again!

We had a wonderful time in this idyllically located house! It was super clean, very lovingly furnished and perfectly equipped – you immediately feel comfortable. A very special highlight for us was the opportunity to use the motorboat provided – this made our stay unforgettable. Absolutely recommend, we'll be happy to come back!

We were with 8 women over the weekend in Henk's house and felt completely comfortable, as it is cozily furnished and very spacious. There were also several seating areas behind the house. Since we had 30 degrees, we did not use the beautiful sauna. The house is very quiet, a bit remote, which we liked.

We had a wonderful week in the holiday home of Aaltje. A very tastefully decorated space with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The basic amenities are present, as well as bedding and towels. There is a lovely garden, which is fenced, which was nice for our dogs. And Aaltje's handsome dog occasionally came to visit us. The house is located in a dead-end street adjacent to a beautiful nature reserve. You can walk into the forest/the Bakkeveen dunes, where you immediately enter a free-range area. The village with supermarket and restaurants/terraces is within walking distance. The Slotplaats with adjacent forest is also recommended.

We spent a few days in BijAnderen and had a great time. We were looking somewhere comfortable , quiet, peaceful in the countryside and close to cycle routes. All the boxes were well ticked. Saskia is responsive and helpful host and her holiday home is cosy and has everything you might need. The Drentsche. National park and the Balloerveld are beautiful landscapes to explore on the bike or hike. Highly recommend the food in the Hotel in Anderen.

It was a wonderful place, nice terraces, sun/shade, especially the terrace on the forest wall with great views, silence, you could hear the birds, deer came by in the evening. We didn't spend much time inside. Beautiful cycling routes in the area. The contact with Henk was very pleasant, personal.. A very nice place!!!

Fantastic place for a getaway! The house is a bit hidden but once you have found it, bombastic! Nice layout and amenities. We felt very comfortable. With the lake and outdoor swimming pool within walking distance we had a very nice summer vacation. The place is very cute and the people very hospitable. The house is highly recommended.

What a lovely wing of a beautiful, artfully decorated old house. We loved the out door kitchen BQ area and the lovely homemade rolls and marmalade for breakfast each morning with fresh coffee. Beautiful garden to explore and our dog was made very welcome. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. Parking too! 😀

I would happily recommend this property for anyone to stay at. Even just walking onto the property we found it to be stunning! So beautiful and artistic inside and out. We especially loved the fully stocked kitchen and made a beautiful meal that we ate together at the table. So gezellig!

It was a very nice stay in the cottage of the bronze bucket! Beautiful location in wooded area and wonderfully quiet. In older updates, I read about a noisy heater, but that didn't bother us, maybe recently renewed? In any case, it was wonderfully warm to get what was welcome after a day of mountain biking. As an extra bonus, we were allowed to check out later so we could still shower after the Sunday bike ride, very much appreciated.

We enjoyed the spacious chalet. Everything you want is available. Quiet and beautifully located. Nice comfortable bed. Beautiful cycling environment. Easy contact with Martina. We'll definitely be back.

Nice and cozy house in a secluded spot with gezellige outdoor tables. We even managed to take our son out with the sled from the shed on the one snowy day we had. The hostess was very friendly and helpful and always responded quickly.
