This small home is a perfect place is you want to spend the days on the lake, or if you want to use it as a home base for your other Northwoods adventures. Be sure to read the description of amenities, such as not being able to pour water down the sink and a port-a-potty as an outhouse, but we weren’t at all bothered by these things. We got to hear loons and sit on the dock at sunset, followed by hours of card games in the living room. Would definitely recommend for the price of a tiny house on the lake is what you are looking for!

We had a great experience at The Vault! The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more: coffee maker, Keurig and Kpods, French Press, electric kettle and tea bags, large refrigerator with ice maker, plenty of dishes and silverware, laundry detergent, box fans, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, plenty of towels and washcloths. The host was very nice and helpful and quickly replied to messages. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this rental!

The yacht was super nice! Getting on board was easy and accurately described. I messaged before hand on entry to the boat since I had mobility issues with my knee and the host was kind enough to send pictures. I enjoyed the trails around the marina and the bathrooms/showers were always clean. It was my first time sleeping on a boat 🛥️ and it was so relaxing!

Barbara was so kind and flexible with our check in, which gave us time to do some extra walking about during the evening. Being within walking distance from the festival park and waterfront area was a huge bonus for us. We will certainly be back next time we go to Duluth!

We had an amazing time staying at Jennifer’s renovated barn! The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed (and more), the location was perfect (very close to the the lakewalk) and view of the lake was a special bonus. The neighborhood was beautiful and the neighbors friendly. A couple of people actually stopped and helped us when they were seeing us struggle a bit to orient ourselves before we started our walk to the lake. :) I also appreciated Jennifer providing a brief description of the history of the barn right on the wall near the kitchen. It was fun to see/think about how it looked and operated back then. I had a question for Jennifer toward the end of our stay (just related to check-out process) and she responded immediately. I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you, Jennifer!
