“We enjoyed our stay at Amity and Doran's. The view is fantastic and there is nothing like watching the sunrise over the lake! It was very quiet, peaceful, close to restaurants, shopping and the freeway. Nicely decorated and homey place for a weekend visit and we would definitely stay again. If you have a sensitivity to smells, notify them in advance as the bedding does have a slight scent to them that is relaxing for most but not all. Overall, a great stay.”
My place has a great view of the lake and is walking distance to downtown, Lake Walk, Bayfront, restaurants, coffee shops, entertainment. My place is good for couples and business travelers. Enjoy coffee or glass of wine on the porch watching ships arriving and leaving the harbor.
“My second time staying here!! This place is fantastic and centrally located in Duluth! Barbara is always a welcoming host and is friendly and knowledgeable and prompt to respond. She doesn’t intrude on your space or tie you up in conversation however she is happy to visit with you if you so choose to. Simple check in and out with the keyless entry and had a great selection of beer from many local breweries 🙌🏽🍻😁 I will continue to stay here and recommend Barbara’s place- two thumbs WAY up!!”
Tucked away on 2.5 acres in the middle of Duluth, this one-bedroom cottage has breath-taking panoramic views of Lake Superior, the Aerial Lift bridge and the St. Louis River. With the large property and surrounding trees, the home feels secluded but has wonderful access to hiking and biking trails, parks, beaches and all that downtown Duluth and Canal Park have to offer. “I loved this space. It was the perfect spot for my solo get away, but I could see it work equally well as a launching pad for all your Duluth and North Shore adventures. The views of Lake Superior were stunning. I don't think I'd ever tire of seeing the sun come up over the lake. The roads were slushy coming in and Emily and Ben quickly sent an alternative route to make the traveling to their Airbnb easier. Highly recommended.”
