Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Dumfries and Galloway

We have just returned from a break at the lodge and it was superb! A gorgeous find where the photos don’t do this justice. Nigel was a fabulous host, communicated well and really friendly. We stayed as a family of four with a 7 year old and 2 year old. Nigel had left a high chair and travel cot for us. The view is fabulous. We made good use of the hot tub and the pool table. The lodge is well equipped, towels for the hot tub and bathroom use, we loved this as saved us so much for packing! There is underfloor heating in the hallway to two bedrooms and the main bathroom that heated the whole lodge, it was super cosy! The kitchen has all you need and the finish in decor and furniture is beautiful. We had a lovely few days out, Mabie farm park is local and great for kids and a walk along the river at dock park. We will absolutely be back and had such a great few days! So pleased we found this place!

Lizzie was a fantastic host, she responded to messages and even allowed us to extend our stay into the afternoon. The house was lovely we will definitely look at booking again in the new year. Thank you

we had a lovely stay, cottage location is very private with wonderful views. No shops etc close by, around 10 minutes drive to Dumfries. We got an early check- in and a nice welcoming pack left for us, milk etc. Plenty of towels, dressing gowns, slippers for hot tub with is spacious, clean and private. Farm animals in the grounds and walking straight from the cottage to Shieldhill . We had a lovely time here and would highly recommend .

Two words to describe Bonshaw Grange - "Flawless" and "Perfection." This is no ordinary stay, this is a unique experience that transports you to a magical place. Everything was perfect from start to finish. John was incredible from start to finish, with all the comms, responsive to messages, accomodated all requests. Went above and Beyond, and really contributed to making a 40th Birthday weekend celebration so very special. Everyone was blown away by the house, the gardens, the decor, the facilities - all truly luxe with no expense spared. The love, care and attention to every single detail is evident. I really congratulate John and Dan for creating such an amazing and beautiful space. I want to gatekeep this beautiful place but have already told so many friends & family. The children did not want to leave and already discussing our return and when we can book again and for longer! Truly Outstanding! Thank you so much for Everything!

A Perfect Getaway! I stayed at this charming cottage and couldn’t be more pleased. The place was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfy beds. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, making the entire experience seamless. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat — I’ll definitely be coming.

Stayed here for a night before our wedding in Gretna Hall with our family. Omg it’s the best self catering we have ever stayed in. Wood fire hot tub , beautiful garden, absolutely pristine and Dougie could not be more helpful. My only regret is not being able to stay longer. Definitely hoping to return for a longer trip. Thank you Dougie !

A beautifully well kept and presented large home from home. Well laid out with fully equipped kitchen. If you can’t find something, keep looking as the kitchen has everything. Large family bathroom with all rooms well proportioned. Amazing hosts who can’t do enough to make you feel welcome and ease you in to their property.

We absolutely loved our night at the cottage and would have loved to stay longer. Briony was a great making sure everything was ready for our arrival and so many thoughtful little touches. Thank you. A great way to end our holiday.

Amazing stay. Felt right at home and was so peaceful. Booked it for our mini moon and wish we booked it for longer, was sad to leave. Highly recommended and will definitely be booking again! 🫶🏼

Amazing location right by the lake. Lovely cabin and the hot tub was cracking. Having a little boat to row out onto the lake was a nice little touch. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Awesome, cozy camp cabin with really well thought out camp kitchen and bathroom! Easy to work everything out. Extremely clean! Absolutely gorgeous farm stay, so peaceful. The hot tub is the cherry on top after a long day of hiking. Easy to follow instructions plus hot and ready to go. Very easy to follow directions to find our space. I really wish we could have spent longer here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Laigh Letterpin Lodge. We had many peaceful nights in the hot tub with spectacular farm views. The lodge itself is very private and secluded. Laigh Letterpin Lodge is very well thought out and was spotless on arrival. Everything exceed our expectations. Would definitely recommend to people who like peaceful weekend breaks.

Absolutely amazing stay here, just what we needed to get away from city life, scenery was beautiful, hot tub was amazing, very clean, we just loved every second of it, we didn't want to come home! Thank you Catherine for having the prosecco and banners up for us on arrival , it was a lovely suprise for my partners birthday. We will definitely be back!

Lovely place to stay, exactly like the photos and had everything we needed for our time away. Hot tub was easy to use and such a nice way to wind down at the end of the day whilst listening to the birds.

These pods are great value for money! Sarah and mark where so lovely and explained everything to a t! The pods have everything and are very well equipped ! My 2 dogs loved it so much , it was dog friendly for 2 staffys! They even had natural dog treats for the dogs ! Will most definetly be back
